The horizon, as seen from the lodge, hovers over the ceiling of Bwindi Impenetrable forest canopy, creating a surprising blend of a blue & green hued skyline. As the sun rises over the horizon, it casts prisms-of-light through the misty-blanket covering this vast canopy. The lodge sits on a 12-acre piece of land, decorated with 15 luxurious cottages, a heated swimming pool and a spa with steam & sauna. Modern green roofs incline to seamlessly blend with the surrounding nature. Supported by orange steel pillars, they shelter wide terraces that guarantee panoramic views of Bwindi Impenetrable forest for each of the cottages and the Virunga ranges from the dining facility. The service is so luxuriously breathtaking that one must pinch oneself to realise it isn't all a dream. It is refreshingly UNFORGETTABLE and perfect for a honeymoon, an anniversary, a family vacation or just time away from the hustle and bustle. The surprise elements for our anniversary were so well executed that, several weeks later, we are still marvelling at this gift (of a place) that kept on giving. Simply unforgettable!

Reviewed By Maina974L'Héritage guest house s'appelle désormais le Sabyinyo guest house. Central, ce modeste hôtel offre des chambres très propres à des prix défiant toute concurrence !! Les chambres disposent d'une salle de bain. Le patron est absolument adorable toujours disponible et prêt à rendre service et à donner des conseils. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel.

Ok place to stay
Reviewed By Patrick WThis is a comfortable, but certainly no thrills place in Kisoro. The town is a bit of back-packers homebase for nearby hiding in the Virunga's so options are limited. Rooms are nothing special but certainly fine. Staff were flexible to accommodate early morning meal times. If you expect luxury, you won't find it, but if you're travelling flexibly in Uganda this is more than enough.

Decent base to head out on a Gorilla trek
Reviewed By callcrookieI stayed here for two-nights as part of an overland Intrepid trip. It was a good decision to upgrade into a room which was clean, well-kept and provided a good night of sleep. The bathroom was also clean and had a decent shower. A small bar was available on-site, whilst there was also a good coffee shop / outside bar in town. I would recommend staying here when planning to head out and see the Gorillas.

Reviewed By Peter LA place that will be OK for backpakkers. Close to the Gorilla trekking south from Kisoro. A very nice host. The young boy just washed my car without asking. They are not used to forreign customers, but the intentions are good.
