I don't care much about traditional Ukrainian food, but this restaurant is an exception. I've been there many times, and everything I've had exceeded the expectations. My favorites are stewed rabbit and buckweat with mushrooms, but everything else tastes good as well. All of my friends from abroad liked this place as well regardless of being familiar with Ukrainian food before or not. The interior is very interesting - it features a lot of authentic traditional items from everyday use back in the days that you no longer find in one's home unless it's a 90-year old granma in some village. I don't know if the stuff speaks English or if they have menu in English, but considering that this place has been a favorite of the Peace Corps volunteers for years it must be not a problem to order there :)

Odd mix of cuisine - Italian and Sushi, not sure what they were good at since both were not tasty, but pricey. The service lacked any European elements.

Their specialty is fish (as much as fish can be a specialty in a small town far away from the sea), but pretty much everything on the menu tastes good. At least it used to taste good. Also, they had an interesting interior with wood and maritime decoration prevailing. The place has been closed for a long time after a fire they had several months ago. I went there a few das ago to see at what stage the renovation is and if we can expect for it to re-open in the near future. It doesn't look like any work is being done, so most likely it's not re-opening any time soon, which is very unfortunate because I miss their food :(

As most coffee places in Kirovohrad are somehow underground, Mocco with its spacious Terrace and well lit interior stands out. Coffee quality is very average but service is generally warm and welcoming. Restroom facilities are surprisingly poor.

Overall quick and nice service is not supported by anything else. Food is very Soviet style which means fatty, cheap and untasty. Greek salad was with fake feta cheese, which I personally find a mark of quality (or rather lack of quality in this case). The only thing which I liked was fried cheese - nice! Interior is typical post Soviet 90s cafés with characteristic smell. Terrace looked nice though but a lot of smoking people there. Not coming back there for sure.

Feeling Coffee is a good cozy and pleasant place to meet friends or to organize a business meeting. FC's menu includes coffee made in Italy (Illy, Lavazza) and Columbia (Oma), French cacao and hot chocolate, milk cocktails, panini, fresh juices, sweet cakes, ice-cream and good selection of tea. Here U have awesome background music (jazz, blues, trip-hop) and free wi-fi.
This is a small coffee house next to the Reikartz Hotel. I had a nice Latte and chocolate banana crepe. The price was very reasonable.

The best place in Kihovohrad downtown. Pork steak was so juicy and tender. Mussel salad was very fresh and unique sauce makes it more special. English menu is available so that non-ukraine travellers have no difficulties dine in.

This is one of the best places to spend time with your friends. The location is in city center, not far away from the main city square, in front of ex-cinema theater, shortly, easy to find. Please note, that it is on the basement level. The prices are nice for your pocket.

A so very cute interieur, tasty food and drinks (alcohol and alcohol-free), delicious Deserts! It is always a pleasure to visit this place.
It is good for having a dinner with friends and for having a milk shake with a kid. Pizza is very good. Deserts are mmmm... you can't have enough :-)
