Located on the quay in the village of Kinvara, breath taking views overlooking the bay and Dunguaire Castle. We cater for all tastes. Daily lunch menu served from 12, a la carte from 5. Large upstairs room overlooking bay can be used for private parties.
I've eaten I. Yet Pier Head many times over the years whilst visiting Clare and Galway and have always been impressed. It seems to get better and better. It can be busy at weekends, especially during the summer and it's probably best to book at those times, I have never failed to get a table after a few mi utes. The seafood is stunning, why wouldn't be with Galway Bay outside the window?
The town is so beautiful and unspoilt. I highly recommend the area and this establishment.

Moran's Oyster Cottage Seafood Restaurant Galway, The Weir, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway, is a traditional thatched cottage that dates back over 250 years. Today Morans is run by the 7th generation of the Moran family in the business. It is renowned the world over for its superb seafood and Galway oysters which attracts people from the five continents, and is open all year round
Moran's might just be my favourite restaurant in Ireland. Continues to be excellent with the freshest seafood and delicious dishes that make you want to come back time and time again. Staff are also excellent. Highly recommend the steamed clams, garlic mussels and crab claws, with lots of brown bread and the obligatory pint!

Great to find Linnanes open in November when some other places had closed for the season. As always, the food and service was excellent. It was quite busy on a Saturday evening so I'd recommend making a reservation, although you can always wait at the bar for a table to free up.

I've been meaning to write a review for the Gallery Café for years, I've never been disappointed with a meal in this café period! The menu is always interesting, seasonal. inventive and uses decadent ingredients. The food looks beautiful on the plate, always creative in its presentation and fresh ingredients are always used. A salad will look bejewelled and springy and crispy.. the plates will have swirls of bright colours contrasting and zingy. You are guaranteed to be surprised by your meals and the accompanying drinks menu... prosecco and rosemary. The desserts are lush and you only wish you could manage to eat more then one and there is always gluten free choices..On a final note the décor Is cosy, artistic and fun, always changing its an ongoing visual feast, you never know what new little addition will be different in the space each time you visit. And as for the staff , they are lovely and warm efficient and professional. Its a gem

Our 'Gentian @ St Georges' is a brasserie with a twist: serving dishes to share with robust, sunny flavours, typically from a contemporary Irish, European palette with good old comfort food thrown in, The Gentian's ethos is one of quality, innovation, freshness and abundance with comfort and friendliness thrown in. Our coffee already has a reputation.....We will be looking after you all day, with substantial breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The setting is informal with local stone and splashes of colour; Burren and south Galway, blended with funky london, has a relaxed cosy, curl up feel, with windows looking out over the Kinvara bay - colour and comfort, space for Reading chatting, meeting up or getting way from it all.
I called in here for breakfast yesterday and for under 8 euro it was great value. The place was busy with Atlantic Way tourists but that didnt affect the quality if food or the excellent service.

nice old fashioned pub with great displays of whiskeys plus no TV.
opens only in the evenings
cons: slightly over drama on whiskeys, I asked for Tullamore and was informed it wasn't socked due to lack of promotional support. Easier if they suggested alternative, don't need to hear history lesson

This is a top class Indian Restaurant.
Ratings from previous Trip Advisor reports were very good and we were not disappointed. The waiter gave a very brief explanation of each dish as we ordered, which was helpful. The food was really excellent. There was 4 in our party and everyone raving about what they got.

I could sit in the Strawberry Hedgehog Cafe for hours while watching people come and go. The cafe is a colorful laid back kind of place with fun art on the walls, knick-knacks on shelves and a delectable assortment of scones, croissants, wraps, fresh smoothies, and outstanding latte,

Nice accommodations with very accommodating hosts, Geraldine and Noel, in just a gorgeous, unique setting. Quiet, on the water, with thatched roof houses down the street!! Excellent omelette and fruit served for breakfast!
