Port Royal is a village located at the end of the Palisadoes at the mouth of the Kingston Harbour, in southeastern Jamaica. Founded in 1518 by the Spanish, it was once the largest city in the Caribbean, functioning as the centre of shipping and commerce in the Caribbean Sea by the latter half of the 17th century. It was destroyed by an earthquake on June 7, 1692, which had an accompanying tsunami. Severe hurricanes have regularly damaged it. Another severe earthquake occurred in 1907.

I am very big on service and this restaurant delivered and then some. From the moment we entered and took seats, we were catered to. Our server was pleasant, jovial, friendly and professional. She assisted with our decision as we were indecisive and her recommendations for us were spot on. The food was really great and the ambiance is superb. We were really there for a live music show that was being held there but we fell in love with the actual location and will make it our regular spot from now on

This is a nice spot to visit anytime of the day. Whether it be to enjoy drinks at the bar or to sit down for a meal. The menu includes a mixture of both traditional and non traditional foods which adds to the appeal.The food came beautifully presented and the staff were polite and welcoming.I was here with my partner and we both enjoyed our experience.

We had some drinks after work and ordered some snacks. Then we ordered the special that included jerk and south african cooking. It was nice, but the initial portions were ridiculously small for a large group so we complained and then we got too much food that we could barely eat all.The pool side was very nice, although there was a big event and we could only sit by the bar. We ordered spring rolls and snacks all of them very good. Good friendly service as well.

Just discovered this spot last week as the Merritone disco opened its own stage there at a very nice location with its own patio. Other parts of the venue feature a bar and room that opens up for dancing. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Laverne.We were mainly having drinks so just had some jerked chicken and cannot really comment on the other food. Will return to try the seafood as the venue is so pleasant. Will try a Monday when Merritone plays again.

F & B Downtown is located inside the Swiss Stores location on Harbour Street downtown Kingston Jamaica. There are not many ' filling' Menu / lunch choices .and hardly any parking for Patrons..
