Visited here in a Wednesday lunch time.
There were 2 if us eating.
You could choose 2 courses for £18.
We had the Soup of the day for starter which was broccoli and potato and Prawn Cocktail. The soup was piping hot, nice and thick and a nice flavour.
For main we choose the Vegetable tartlet with salad and new potatoes and Salmon which came with new potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The tartlet was very tasty.
Waitress very friendly.
Restaurant has some great views of the River Ouse.

Relaxed atmosphere, contemporary style" Bank House is a unique Grade II * listed Georgian town house hotel with bar and brasserie. We love food at Bank House! Our menu offers modern brasserie food, using top quality fresh ingredients and taking full advantage of the wonderful produce of the area in season. Our elegant Bar, once the bank manager's office, is open all day. Teas, coffees and delicious home made cakes are available throughout the day, with the Bank House tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes served during the afternoon.
My partner and I spent an hour or so here for a meal before the theatre. It is a charming place, on the riverside in Kings Lynn and was buzzing at 5pm on Sunday.
The service was good, the ambience delightful and the food very good. However, to charge over £7 for a large glass of house Shiraz was, in our opinion, extortionate and just taking the proverbial - and I told them so. Second thoughts now if we need to go again!

Small, family run, informal bistro with an emphasis on casual dining using local, sustainable produce. Owned and loved by chef owner Richard and his wife Lucy.
We came for lunch after Reading some great reviews on a Trip Advisor and weren't disappointed. The lunch set menu at £20 is incredible value. The salmon starter had a great balance of flavours, the chicken was succulent and accompanied by pearl barley - I am not usually a fan but this was delicious. The lemon posset dessert was rich but offset by a cassis sorbet. Service was very friendly and the restaurant has a lovely ambience. We will visit again when next in Kings Lynn.

We are a grade 2 listed building built as private houses in the 1600's and converted into a pub in 1743. Since that date the premises have retained not just the name but also the licence. We have been independently owned and run since 1994 by our charming landlord Roger. We are in a great riverside spot, lots of interesting naval and nautical memorabilia to come and see and up to six well kept ales from small independent Breweries , good value, home style, freshly cooked food, Enjoy a view of The Great Ouse from our raised vinery. or join us in the dining room with our beautiful rustic fireplace. well behaved dogs are also welcome here.
This is the best pub to play eye spy in! There are artifacts everywhere and it's very quirky. Don't expect to have a long night out here though-food isn't served past 8.30 and it closes at 10! Nice place for a drink though.

Cafe/Restaurant in a sixteenth century warehouse on King's Lynn's riverside. Fresh, local food and good company every day.
Stumbled upon this restaurant on our first visit to King’s Lynn.
We just wanted a quick bite so had the soup. Really delicious, packed full of mushrooms. We also shared a portion of chips, absolutely gorgeous.
I imagine it’s really awesome in the Summer as they have a big outdoor Seating area.

First impressions were not good, with and extended family stretched out along the bar and pre school children playing on electronic gadgets preventing customers being served/ However, once that hurdle was overcome, the place was amazing. It was steak night and a couple of rump or sirloin came in at £18.50 and the beer was amazing. Moongazer Amber could be the best beer I have tried this year. Add to that pleasant service and a roaring log fire and this place is hard to beat.

Stopped for lunch, lovely and cosy by the log burner and a friendly welcome with our two small pooches. I had parsnip soup, very nice served with ample fresh tasty bread. Husband had burger and chips which was homemade and he really enjoyed it. Lovely tasty cup of tea too! Recommend and we will return.

Our cycling club visited Barnfields and we were all very impressed by the friendly service, the excellent quality and range of food available, and the lovely setting which overlooks the village green. Our home made cakes and breakfasts were all really tasty and well presented....MoreGreat review, thank you. If you're travelling some distance (especially on a bike), you may wish to give us a call (01760 755577) to ensure we are open and not booked up. Best wishes, Steve.
