Two trips in two weeks. Once when it was a busy lunchtime and once at 2 pm. Expected the service to be better from our waitress when the place was less crowded and I was disappointed. My brother and I are done giving this place our money for an overpriced average lunch. Don't order the special without asking for the price! Your bill will shock you with the "special" price.

I was going to write this more for my husband (he loves ice cream) but decided to write my own review... since I am not a fan of ice cream BUT I am definitely a fan of Stevie's. They have many creative options for ice cream and toppings. We needed a place like this in town.

I've stopped here a few times for coffee instead of going to McDonalds. The coffee is very good, though sometimes I end up with grinds in my cup. I had a Blueberry scone today - excellent! I would definitely recommend this place for a great cup of coffee!

NN Burger was smart. They started out with a small limited menu and after successfully doing business have expanded their offerings. Excellent menu with friendly staff. Open to modification of your order. Burger was a little overdone, but these days people worry about underdone. In...MoreThank you for the great review. We are family owned since 1939.
This is a bustling local restaurant with great service and delicious food. My husband and I were doing the tourist thing and seeing as many of the local sights as possible, and we stopped at Lee's for lunch two days in a row. On Tuesday we both had fried oyster sandwiches on a bun, and these were individually fried oysters which were then grouped together on a sandwich bun. We are both fried oyster aficionados, and those fried oysters at Lee's rivaled any we have tasted in fine dining restaurants in world capitals. Interestingly the green peas, a side dish, were great! I almost didn't care after those fried oysters. Chicken salad was the order of the day on Wednesday: I had a cold plate/chicken salad platter with cole slaw and potato salad, and my husband had a croissant chicken sandwich with a cup of potato soup. Lee's has a full menu, and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but all I can say about the food is that everything we tried was great. The service was prompt and cheerful, and it seemed that the whole town was in Lee's meeting, greeting, and eating. Eating lunch at Lee's made us wish we were not just vacationers but that we lived in Kilmarnock.

There aren't many sit-down, table service Asian restaurants in this area. Most are basically carry outs with pictures of the food over the counter. This place has real menus, good service and pretty good Americanized Asian food.

We wanted breakfast, it was half past noon. The restaurant we were intiially trying for up the street was full so we found ourselves sitting in a parked car, starving and somewhat feverishly googling other restaurants in the area. When we stumbled onto the Inn, we assumed it was just a B&B at first but then saw the review that mentioned others wrongly guessing the same, so I called to ask if they served breakfast at that time. The server whom answered, went to check with the chef. Then the chef came on the line to welcome us and inquire about what specifically we were looking for, then to say he was confident he could accommodate us. Though technically breakfast was over at that time. When does something like that happen in a restaurant these days? Then we remained pleasantly surprised at every turn.
Everyone in the restaurant was gracious and lovely and the food was far better than we'd hoped-- we all agreed it was our favorite meal anywhere on our entire vacation, and possibly our favorite breakfast from any restaurant, ever. I got the biscuits and gravy and I cannot recommend it highly enough, was out of this world. Others got the French toast, pancakes and Virginia ham and eggs breakfast, all received as mine. None of us went with anything particularly unconventional this meal but the details of each of ours were just spot on-- the meat and eggs cooked perfectly, the potatoes seasoned just right, the pancakes fluffy and fresh, warm maple syrup in the coolest dispensers ever : )
Most of the breakfast items were between 10 and $15, more of course for seafood. There was no kids meals so I figured we would just eat my six-year-old's leftovers but the server offered to give us a half portion, again greatly appreciated. Given the quality of the food we ate, I would say it was an EXCELLENT deal.
I would return with just my husband for a stay at the Inn...

Coffee......creamy carmel iced coffee! Breakfast goodies, dessert goodies, gourmet quiche and salads, all the things you miss from home. I literally stumbled into this place looking for a replacement to my morning java, I felt like a kid in a candy store! I left with a bag full of goodies that everyone enjoyed. A must do when in Kilmarnock.

We went to the location at Windmill Point. We came out from Reedville in our little river house trip fishing and crabbing to look for some beach time. There's quite a few what must have BEEN public spots that are no longer so. Windmill Point isn't the Jersey Shore, but it's a cute little piece of beach..very intimate. I thought it was sweet. We threw out our blanket, and the kids played in the water for a little while. Found some little stones, and walked back up toward the marina. There's a tiki hut where you can come as you are, order a drink, get some nice very good food! Fish tacos..yum..old bay chips..double yum. Everything was very good, and a nice breezy outside location. Felt like we found a private little beach oasis. Wish we'd come here instead of NN...
