Find out what Sushi restaurants to try in Kigali. Inhabited since the 11th-century, what is now Kigali has been the home of Twas, Tutsis and Hutus. The city sits on a series of verdant ridges and lush valleys, and has a Muslim Quarter and a bustling market. Rwanda's capital is the site of battles that left over a million, mostly Tutsi and moderate Hutus, dead. Kigali Memorial Centre is a permanent memorial to 1994's Genocide, built on a mass grave where 250,000 are buried. Kigali City Tour Bus offers an excellent introduction to this now safe, friendly city.

It is a big place with natural view spacious n peace full place ,we serve Chinese, japanese, thai, indian cuisine,we try to serve best quality n tasty food with great ambiance,so come with ur family and friends to have good time.
Really cool place to have a meal. Great atmosphere and vibe in the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu (both Chinese and Indian cuisine) were huge and well varied. Nobody struggled to find something and I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and there were around 12 of us dining. Prices are also very reasonable. The main let down was having to wait for over 30 mins on a bill or payment being taken. We got to the stage where we were close to walking our because we had asked so many times and nothing was done to bring the bill over so that was a bit disappointing. Overall this is a great place to have a nice authentic, Asian meal and I would recommend and return but bare in mind the long wait for service. Dear Patron,Thanks for the feedback on our food and service, reviews like this helps us to reflect on the areas which we need to focus and improve on. We shall look forward to your next visit & get our act right henceforth. We are very happy to know that you liked our food.Big Thanks from Zen Oriental Cuisine Staff & Management.

Welcome to Sakae Japanese Restaurant. Providing Rwanda with fresh Sushi / Sashimi / Teppanyaki Excellence in Dining since 2011.
This restaurant has good, healthy Asian food. A little pricy. They have an outside fire pit with chairs for lounging. Good view of the city. Parking is a bit of a problem. Very helpful servers.

I went three times during the two weeks in Kigali just because I'm an absolute sucker for quality Indian food. The service was friendly, the prices reasonable, and the food delicious. The ambiance is mediocre and I'm not sure about the hotel. Located in a quiet area of town with other quality restaurants within easy walking distance.

The place is a true blend of Japanese and African traditions. When you walk in, you are welcomed by a Japanese nod and then you are surrounded by an ambient decorated with African burst of colors and texture. We liked the sushi and musubi rolls very much. I did not like the curry with rice much because the curry sauce seemed to be too thin. And the staff might have some communication issues. One very kind waiter ended up giving us an extra rice bowl when we asked for (and showed him) extra rice while ordering a curry dish with "unlimited rice" offer. Otherwise, it is a very nice place. You can see the Japanese owner and another cook cutting the fresh ingredients when you enter. The price is also good. My husband loves this place.Thank you very much for visiting us and your positive feedback.I'm very sorry for your bad experience for curry with rice. We try to improve and increase quantity and I remind all waiter and waitress about unlimited rice offer. We are preparing for reopening, new menu, price and concept. I hope to serve you again near future.
