Hi we went with friends for a Birthday supper, traveling over 50 miles to get there and had the most delicious prime rib we had ever had in our lives. The service was friendly and being holiday time the place was decorated for Christmas. I would recommend this place to one and all. We will definitely be returning in the future.

My wife and I were taking a morning walk near Elkhart Lake's City Center and decided to try this interesting place for a cup of coffee and whatever breakfast we could find. We certainly lucked out here as the coffee was bold and delicious and there was a very good selection of homemade sweet treats as well as several interesting breakfast options including several gluten-free choices. We chose one of the breakfast sandwiches featuring scrambled eggs, deli ham and aged cheddar cheese on a toasted english muffin. The sandwiches were amazing. On our way out we passed the sweets counter and saw a dozen or so enticing items in their showcase. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing and very satisfying breakfast experience and will definitely be back soon...

Great ice cream and hot dogs. They don't have burgers and fries, just a smaller menu, but it's all good. There is no dining room, only a drive through and walk up window. But there is a nice park across the street, and it's more fun to be outside in summer eating ice cream anyway. They even made a special request all chocolate ice cream cake for my wife's birthday last year. Although they are closed in winter, it's only for 2 months or so. They are closed starting in November, but open early in February for the ice carving festival on Freemomt street.

I have visited this bakery many times, always great. Best doughnuts in the area! A place you must visit if you are in the Kiel area.

You can step back in time in this nicely restored Elkhart Lake historic ice cream shop. You can choose from a couple dozen flavors of hand dipped premium ice cream...cups, hand made waffle cones, or build your own sundae. Delicious!

We have eaten at all the restaurants in Elkhart Lake and this is our hands-down favorite. Creative dishes, great presentation and everything is delicious. Loved that we could order a half portion of the lobster ravioli for our 10 year old - they were great, light and tasty. Other dishes such as gnocchi, chop, and specials were all tasty. Service is outstanding and very professional and well-trained. We ate there two out of five nights on our week of vacation. Enough variety that we could have eaten there all five nights and have been delighted. Highly recommend.

First time that we have been here but wouldn't go back. Met a relative at the restaurant due to the half-way meeting point. We arrived around 5:30PM and had some drinks at the bar. We had five drinks total for three people at a cost of $27. I thought that was high for such a common place. Maybe the previous listings that said drinks were reasonable here had a drink special before 5PM. We ordered dinners that included the salad bar. The salad bar consisted of iceberg lettuce (no healthy greens) with a variety of toppings, cottage cheese, cole slaw, and what looked like tuna salad. Nothing special about that. White buns that were heated were nothing remarkable either. The enchilada soup was excellent though. The entrees arrived with good size helpings but the quality was not there. My tenderloin steak had fatty gristle around the edges, uncommon for a tenderloin. Must have been a lower cut of meat. My husband's steak was overdone. When the bill came, we were charged for an extra entree. However, that was corrected when it was brought to their attention. Staff was friendly and service was fine.
