We went on a Monday night and it was easy to get a table, but we were still surprised at how many people were already dining. The entrees of fishcakes, curry puffs and chicken satay were all delicious, we all would really be happy eating another round! The mains were all scrumptious ... particularly the pad lemongrass chicken and the red curry chicken, the flavours simply divine, it was hard to stop over eating. The pad Thai was also nice. The meals are a good serving of meat and veg, with plenty of the sauce (just how i like it).Good prices, pleasant service and prompt serving made for a pleasurable meal. This restaurant deserves to be in the top 5 for Kiama, most certainly!

Thai Food for Take away , Dine in ,Group or Catering
A good place for take away; however, it also has a nice courtyard if you choose to eat in.Good Thai food but not the best in town.

I hope that many of the individuals that read my reviews see that I do try to be a fair reviewer of the culinary skills in the restaurants that I have frequented and reviewed here. It is seldom that I am displeased by a restaurant, but this was the case. A recent weekend outing to Kiama after encouraging my wife for a Thai meal, we ventured into the Nirand Thai. The place looked OK and it was not too busy, so we decided to âtestâ like we always do any Thai restaurant for the first time with some basic Thai food.We choose a seat in the balcony area and we proceeded to choose our meals. My wife chose the pork Pad See Ew while I went with the Gai Yang which we gave the order to the individual taking our order (waiter/manager/owner?) we were not sure. One thing for certain the man smiled as much as a red brick. The food came out reasonably quick and while the taste was not great, it was not poor either. What really stuck with us was the attitude of the waiter/manager/owner which was so unprofessional. We saw him clean a table next to us, pick up a napkin from the table and throw it over the balcony into the street.Did not even blink.I might be a bit fastidious and somewhat demanding, but I do not ask for much in life other than a restaurant be clean or pretend to be clean. If you decide to go after reading this review, the reader is a brave person indeed.
