The elderly in our family meets here once a month for a "cousins" luncheon. I had tagged along this time as I was home from work this particular day. I had ordered the grilled tenderloin with everything on it. It was tasty and filling. I've never had a bad meal here at Cerno's Bar and Grill. I'm glad to see that they had preserved the old historic building. It adds a very nice touch. HUGE bar!

Whenever I visit Kewanee I must stop in at this friendly, bright, artsy coffee shop. There is always something tantalizing on the menu. My favorite- lattes! The shop is so unique to the area because all the coffee is fresh roasted right on the premises. The aromas are wonderful. The hot paninis are made to order and are delicious. The shop has two adjacent casual seating rooms. What a lovely way to get friends together and enjoy each other's company over a great cup of coffee.

We needed a place for lunch that was not fast food. We were quickly greeted when we sat down and asked for our drink order. We each order off the lunch menu and was quite pleased with our choices. The beans and rice were fresh and didn't taste our look like they have been sitting all day.
Good lunch choice if you are in a crunch for time and want to avoid franchise fast food.

The atmosphere was very cute --brick walls, very comfortable lighting. The menu was simply salads and sandwiches...we were hoping for more "comfort food" as have had years in the past. I once had an amazing Chicken Pot Pie at this restaurant....sad to see the menu was sandwich driven.
Sandwich was good as was the soup ( Monte Cristo and Broc. Cheese soup)
My husband ordered the Quesadilla---it was to be made of cheese and chicken, there was barely any cheese in it. He didn't enjoy it at all.
Service was good.
Would return again but just know the menu is limited and remember to ask for cheese on the Quesadilla.

We love eating quite a few different items off their menu, but we never eat here without ordering some cinnamon bread! The torpedo subs are good if you are looking for a quick sandwich. My family really likes the lasagna & also the family size spaghetti. The garlic bread is also delicious, but the cinnamon bread is my #1!

I visited here with friends for a weekday brunch. It is a bright and friendly eatery in a location (by the train tracks) which is easy to find and had reasonable parking. The menu featured breakfast specials that were too good to ignore. The scrambled egg and sausage was surprisingly hearty and well made, and priced to be a bargain. These seems like a good choice for a no-frills, get your day started breakfast

We were visiting Kewanee for the day and asked a local shop owner for a lunch recommendation. She highly recommended PL Damron's. Although the menu is small, it has plenty of delicious choices. I ordered the daily special and was not disappointed. A delicious experience for sure. We also purchased a whole apple pie to take with us. Again, delicious and truly homemade.

This was my first time here. I believe that their fried pickles may be the BEST that i've ever had. They have a very good breading on them. They have several beers on top. Tv's throughout the place so that you won't miss any of the big game. Good food. I'll definitely be back. Give it a try.

Family oriented restaurant. Option to buy sides separately. Wide range of Items from Barbecue to Italian Beef. Fun dessert options. Casual Bar
My husband and I visited here from Joliet, IL while in the area celebrating our anniversary. We had the fried pickles and the battered fish fry. Both were AMAZING!! The batter on both was very tasty...neither needed any dipping sauce!!
Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.
