Club sulaimani is a cafe located in kozhikode in the bypass close to thondayad. They are specialised in sulaimani which is a variant of the black tea. It's one of the most exotic drink in kozhikode and we can see it as a meal stopper almost everywhere in kozhikode. This club is nicely arranged with adequate seating space especially in the exterior. They also provide juices out of which abheedh galaxy and fifty fifty are special ones. they are specialized in 70 different varieties of sulaimani which was in fact a wonderful thing for us. Card payments are accepted there and it's a wonderful option for the sulaimani lovers in calicut.

What we thought would be a crap shoot turned out to be quite a rewarding gastronomic journey in discovering what Russian cuisine is like at Golden Samovar. There were moments of revelation with the soul-stirring Herring âSaladâ and Blintzes either stuffed with chicken or topped with smoked salmon. And there were some dishes that stood out due to their flavors and their skillful cooking, notably the Pilmeni dumplings that kept us hooked, the bratwurst dish, and the Uzbek offerings of stuffed grape leaves and lamb rice dish. As a foray into this European cuisine, this has been a discovery and a pleasing adventure into new-found gastronomic territory. Judging from my visits so far, I think I will be heading back soon to Golden Samovar to discover more tasty delights of this wonderful East European cuisine.

This was a much looked forward to visit to a restaurant by my family. We went with high expectations. We were floored about a vegetarian speciality restaurant for fine dining experience in a predominantly non vegetarian city. Looking at the menu card gave us more hopes especially seeing vegan options mentioned clearly on the menu card. Maybe our mistake to order for out of ordinary dishes. The Thai spring rolls were mediocre and extremely extremely oily and lacked wholesomeness. The banana blossom salad was a novel idea but with no balance of taste. Yakitori skewers were disastrous since it didn't seem like grilled vegetables.... More like overcooked or boiled vegetables on skewers. The Thai rice was more like kashmiri pulao with raisins and cashews.The spicy Asian eggplant was flavourful. Khowsuey lacked flavour, they missed out on key toppings like peanuts and fried garlic slices. It ended up tasting more like a Kerala vegetable Kurma. The chocolate tart was very misleading. Didn't have any hint of the orange or vanilla or strawberry as promised in the description. That was a big let down. We had ordered for strong filter coffee but we got the lightest coffee ever.Maybe we should have stuck to run of the mill dishes instead of getting too adventurous.The concept, ambience and theme is great.Staff is great.Valet parking service is good. Great location. Vipin Mathew seems very knowledgeable and friendly. I wish more attention was given to authenticity of recipes and taste. I hope they pull up their socks and take this place a few notches higher.
