This is nowadays among the most happening places in Nairobi. Abit out of the way but a spacious place with many indoor rooms and place a as well as gardens for seating. It's really quite large and has a restaurant and buffer catering part.We tried the tempura which was well done. The assorted sushi was a bit dry. The spring rolls were crisp and less oily. The tofu in garlic sauce and Thai green curry were full of flavours bit the fried rice was a bit mushy.

Taste of China as a Brand has been open since March 2008. We started off at Prime Apartments as a poolside restaurant. Our shift to VIP Plaza was in October 2012 where we have tried to create a more contemporary restaurant. we have now moved to 12th floor
On Wednesday 5th June , I went with my family to Taste of China at TRV . After hearing amazing reviews about it . We entered an empty restaurant as we sat ourselves down . We are greeted by a VERY RUDE staff by the name of Daniel . He insisted we move tables - note by the Restaurant was empty . He said that this particular table was booked . We told him that there is no reserve sign and the person can sit else where . He insisted that we move in a very unapologetic manner .we further proceeded to leave very angry and upset . Such behavior is unacceptable in the restaurant business . I will never recommend this restaurant nor will go back .
