Johnny Brusco's is proud to bring authentic New York style pizza and a variety of housemade dinners, subs, and more to the neighborhoods we call home. We grew up enjoying and perfecting pizza, and now we're sharing our passion with everyone we serve.
This place is good for lunch or dinner. We usually hit it at lunch time for the specials. The garlic knots are usually very good too. The bar looks impressive but I havenât tried any alcohol yet at JBâs.Thanks so much for saying so and we sincerely appreciate the 5-Star review and your business. We look forward to having you back for more delicious pizza and welcoming friendly staff real soon - maybe a seat at the bar next time? See you then and thanks again! The beer is always good with a great selection. The service is slow. When we asked the hostess if we could move to a table with service she looked at me then offered to find someone. The garden salad is a field mix and just ok.

Morgan, our server, brought sunshine to our table with her smile and sunny disposition. We ordered Chicken Marsala, Shrimp Scampi, Cheese Ravioli and a special order of angel hair pasta with double spinach and marinara sauce and salad all around. Seating is always very quick in the bar area. This restaurant always has hot food and great service- thanks, Morgan!

Come enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in the vibrant Norton Commons neighborhood blending fine food with a relaxed, inviting setting. Choose to sit in the loft, perfect for private parties, dine indoors or al fresco to take in the bustle of the neighborhoo
Great food with a wide range of options. I enjoyed eating smaller "plates" from their appetizer section, while my husband ate a more typical entree (pasta). The tiramisu at dessert was amazing! Waitress was wonderful and had lots of suggestions. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for a good Italian meal, nice wine and a relaxed dinner!

"Essentially and authentically Italian..." Best describes this comfortable yet sophisticated locally owned restaurant and bar. Whether you're stopping in for lunch or dinner to savor the generously portioned and exquisitely flavored pastas, pizzas, meats
I have been here many times. I love the ambiance, and the food is always the way I like it: Hot and Tasty. There is music in the background, white linen tablecloths, and all the servers are always bustling. We have sat at the bar a few times to eat also, and it is lively and great company.

Hometown pizza was started in my hometown, and I've had the good fortune to watch this company grow from one single store in LaGrange, KY, to multiple stores in surrounding towns and cities, from Louisville to Shelbyville to Carrollton to Bloomfield. The restaurants themselves resemble Pizza Hut restaurants in their general design, but the quality of the food is far better.Hometown features a number of different pizzas, including specialty pizzas such as the Joe's Special (meat-lovers' pizza) to my favorite, the Hometown Special, which includes a large number of toppings including onions, olives, and various meats.Various crusts are available, including the standard "thick" and "thin" crusts. Hometown offers a reasonably good lunchtime buffet, which not only includes an array of pizzes, but includes a small salad bar and some hot sides, including meat balls and pasta dishes.Appetizers are available, including large garlic bread (very good!) and breadsticks. You can get marinara sauce or cheese sauce on the side.If you come for the lunch buffet, be advised that Hometown welcomes requests. Simply let the waitress know what you'd like to see on the buffet, and they'll have the kitchen make it.Hometown excels in a couple of different ways: One, the ingredients are always very fresh, resulting in fabulous taste. But two, I have always been impressed by the taste of the pizzas in part because Hometown doesn't overdo anything. The tomato paste is applied in a way that adds to the experience, but doesn't overwhelm the taste of the pizza. Ditto for all the other ingredients. Everything is put together "just so".Hometown has focused largely on locating stores in semi-rural counties in the metro Louisville area, including LaGrange, Crestwood, Shelbyville, Bloomfield, and Carrollton, Eminence, Owenton, Warsaw, and Taylorsville, Bedford, Hodgenville, Mt. Washington, Bardstown, and others. In addition, there is at least four locations in Louisville proper.
