I love applebees. It's one of my favorite sit down chain restaurants. That being said, this one has its issues. The food is usually good, but they have no consistency. Sometimes you get what's on the menu and sometimes you don't, and if you special order something, it rarely comes out the way you needed it even if it's as simple of a request as "no pepper".Sometimes you'll go and they'll say a food item or sauce has been discontinued and other times they aren't. I can almost never get the right sauces for my sweet potato fry appetizer as they normally give me straight BBQ instead of the signature BBQ ranch.This particular Applebee's struggles with uniformity, but every server I've ever had here is good and understanding. Overall I eat there about 5 times a year and I feel as though it's mostly worth it.

This was our first visit. Itâs a beautiful place. Most of the food we order was good. The bruschetta, the quesadilla were good and so was the burger. We did order the fish tacos and they here not anything I would ever buy again. It was pricey for food that really wasnât good.

Went there on a Tuesday night. Had buffalo chicken dip for appetizer. A tall beer and 2 margaritas(half price on Tuesdays!) Had a french dip sandwich, Nashville chicken strips and a kids meas(Kids eat free on Tuesdays!) all this for 38$. very friendly service and food was good. Took a while to get meal but they were swamped. Plenty of sports to watch on TV's. Great atmosphere. I will be back.

Read some great reviews but as a new customer walking internet a clique of locals feeling really unwelcomed was just plain uncomfortable. Kitchen not really open. With Owensboro trying to revive the downtown they MUST make travelers with $ ready to spend feel welcome. Go to Famous Bistro. 2nd visit and great food and service.

Another 'local favorite' We had some yummy food, and was not able to eat it all. The calzones, are huge, but so deliscious. The breading so good, the insides just as I asked. The service was great, she was personable, and polite, and we enjoyed visiting with her. She knew we were not locals and she helped us with figuring out what we wanted to eat. Will go back next time in KY

Good thingâ- food was hot. Bad things. Orders took over 45 minutes to arrive. No discount for the unreasonable wait. Orders were wrong. Asked for coffee. Never got my refill. Wow. Worst experience Iâve ever had here. Itâll be a while before I come back.
