We were actually planning to go to another Chinese buffet but they wouldnât reopen until 5 pm. It was 3:30 so we ended up at Jumbo about 15 minutes later. Unfortunately, after 3:30 pm itâs considered dinner time so the price went up to $12.99 each. They do have a wide variety to choose from, however, much of it is average at best. They do seem to have a large sushi selection compared to other buffets and a larger dessert bar. The not do good news is that some of the dessert seemed stale yet the sushi seemed fairly good. OK, Iâm not an expert on sushi so others may disagree. The egg rolls and crap Rangoon were a bit chewy but the other Chinese dishes were somewhat better but not truly great. Service was quick and polite plus they always filled our water glasses and removed our empty plates promptly. Itâs a better value at lunchtime if you are in the area.

An old family favorite restaurant. Hadn't been to this place in years. Had crab Rangoon and eggroll for appetizer. Good. Fours of us order different entries. All were hot. Nice size portions. Good service. Clean. Close parking. Did not disappoint. Wasn't busy.

The only bad thing about this place is that you'll smell like it when you leave. I have always enjoyed coming here, the staff is always friendly and aim to please. I almost always get the steak, which is cooked perfectly every time. I like my rice a little crispy, just ask them and they'll let it cook a while longer. The grill meals come with soup and salad. I don't care for the soup so I just ask for a large salad. Give them a try!

I have been a devoted fan of the Jumbo Buffet in Jeffersontown for eighteen years but recently noticed this restaurant on Trip Advisor getting such good reviews. This is often rated the top Chinese buffet in the area. I visited myself this month and this is easily one of our top buffets and perhaps even better than Jumbo Buffet. Both are superb with great food choices, including healthy choices. At Yoki Buffet, the layout is a little easier to navigate than Jumbo Buffet. The cold section has some items unique to Yoki: oysters on the half shell being the biggest surprise. These shucked oysters are packed onto ice and are fresh and briny and large. The cocktail sauce is restaurant quality and there are plenty of sliced lemons nearby. Here though, you can add your own wasabi to the cocktail sauce. This alone makes Yoki Buffet unique and superb. I had eight of these oysters, they were that good. There are also two sashimi offerings, tuna and salmon as well as a good variety of sushi. The sashimi was tasty and fresh. There are halved hard boiled eggs in lieu of the "you peel them" at Jumbo Buffet. The hot items included all the usual culprits but I try to eat healthy and there were some real standouts: the crab casserole, mostly crab, the fresh green beans (wonderfully al dente which is an improvement over the ones at Jumbo which are good, but not this good.). The pepper steak with peppers and onions was a standout not because of the beef (good) but the freshness and crunch of the peppers and onions...superb! Salt and pepper calamari was also better than expected. There are four kinds of soup just like Jumbo Buffet...the egg drop is great at both places. Finally at dessert time, there are more healthy fruit options here over Jumbo. Sliced apples are a welcome addition as well as some chilled Chinese fruits along with the usual melons and orange slices. This is a high quality buffet. The food is nicely presented and noticeably fresh. Superior value for $11.99 on weeknights.

Food was good but was slightly pricey for what it was. But if your staying in a nearby hotel and you wanna eat in go to their website and order online. We did this and it was a 5 minute drive and our food was finishing up as I got there. Hot and ready to go.

We sat at the hibachi grill for a group gathering. The staff was friendly and quick to help. The hibachi chief was funny and entertaining. The drink waiter filled my drink all the time and it was never below 2/3 full at any time! Sushi rolls were expensive but good.
