I was really excited to see a Big Boys as I was coming down I-75. I havenât been to one in years. I bragged about it to my 3 kids as I was pulling into the parking lot. The kids were excited to see a buffet. However, as we got closer to the buffet, we noticed that the food had not been restocked and a lot of the containers were empty. (On the breakfast part). My youngest wanted French toast sticks, which was empty so I asked for them. I was told they would be out soon. He also wanted biscuits and gravy. I put 2 biscuits on the plate- both were hard as rocks. I felt the others with the tongs, they were all hard, too. The rest of my family ordered from the menu. Our food came out in a timely manner. However, my hamburger came out as a cheeseburger, I sent it back (canât eat cheese.) No big deal- these things happen. My son ordered a breakfast burrito and a side of pancakes. As he picked up the burrito, it dripped with grease. I donât mean a little bit of grease, I mean a CONSTANT drip of grease. His pancakes tasted like they were frozen. They were not fresh at all. My daughter ordered the French toast with bacon. The French toast was VERY bland. It was like she was eating bread with syrup. Her bacon had more grease on it then my sonâs burrito. I went back to the bar to get some French toast sticks for my youngest child. I thought for sure they wouldâve had some by then. They didnât. I asked again for them to bring some to the buffet (bar). The waitress, who was very nice, brought my hamburger to me. It was very salty. I ate about half. Once again, I asked about the French toast sticks. I was assured they were working on them. We were at the restaurant for about an hour. When we finished our food, I asked one final time for those French toast sticks. My youngest had his heart set on them. Of course they said, âtheyâre comingâ. We waited about 5 minutes for them and finally gave up. Yes, you counted right- I asked 4 times in one hour for those sticks! The only good parts that I can say is the waitress was nice and attentive, the onion rings were good, and they had crushed ice- thatâs pretty sad if you ask me. Even if we lived close by, we would not return. Do yourself a favor and skip it.

Good food served hot. Very friendly, responsive servers. Need to be a little quicker about bussing tables, but it was a very busy day (Sunday after Thanksgiving). Table service was good. They have some TVs so you could watch the game.

Very good food at a very inexpensive price. I do not understand how they can serve the amount of food for the price. The staff was excellent. All were very friendly!

Beans is a favorite local stop for fresh donuts, full-service breakfast, homemade bakery goods, all-natural deli meats and cheeses; Caribou coffee, and UDF ice cream.
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We ordered a wrap and two sandwiches. Food is fresh but it took a while to come out of the kitchen. My order was supposed to have been a regular size but it looked more like a junior. It is a bit pricy for what it is. The desserts are very good. Staff is friendly. They donât let new customers know to pick up the chips or slaw when you buy a combo before going to the table. There were a couple of different people who had to ask while we were there.
