I'm going to say this is my #1 restaurant in Marshall County. As amazing as the food is, the service was better. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Sweet tea, bluegill, baked potato, salad, banana split pie...all was delicious! New owner is as nice as they come and stayed out front the whole time, but stayed out of the way at the same time. Can't wait to go back and try some more!!

good for a reasonable price..Don't skimp on the portions.. We got good size portions when we went but friends wouldn't go with us as they had to stop and get a snack on the way home..that is the worst thing a restaurant can do is get skimpy in portion size..ours was tasty and would recommend it..hope they don't make me EAT my words.
We went to this new restaurant with friends to celebrate a birthday. The beer was cold. When we ordered at 3:00 pm, we were told they were out of crinkle fries and Mac and cheese. I ordered a baked potato that when it was served looked like it was many days old! The waitress brought me another and it was just as bad. She said it was just over cooked. The special was liver and onions. Very small portion and very tough. BBQ sandwich was nothing special. I know this is a new place but not sure Iâll come back.

I live in Kansas City and through work am lucky enough to travel throughout the US. I have a lot of customers in Texas, Memphis and throughout the southwest. I also have an office in the Carolina's, so I get plenty of opportunities to eat great BBQ. THE BRISKET AT J-MACK WOULD STAND UP ANYWHERE. Literally among the best I've ever had.The folks working there were super friendly, and believe they said that the young man (had just turned 5) was the owner's son (grandson?). Very first class people. My only suggestion would be to upgrade your side items. My beans were fine, but seems like a distant afterthought compared to the brisket. The seasoned chips were too salty. Still an excellent experience though. My coworker said the ribs were awesome too.If you are going to be driving by, you will do yourself a disservice by not stopping. I've got a new customer in the area and will definitely be back!
