A Flavorful Play on Traditional American Comfort Food.
This restaurant, in addition to providing excellent food and service, also serves the community. The staff is local and very friendly. The menu is varied but sustainable. My wife and I recently dined there with a group, and our bill for two was just under $30. We could have saved by skipping dessert, but a serving of fresh apple pie ala mode, big enough to serve two, was delicious!

I went there a few weeks back with my wife's family from Whitesburg upon recommendations from them and several other people. I actually had high hopes upon first walking inside. The decor was very nice and it smelled great. Service started off great as we had a kind waitress who quickly got our drinks and orders. I will also say the restroom is one of the cleaner ones that I have seen in awhile. After what seemed like a good 30 minutes, our food finally came out. I got the pulled pork sandwich on cornbread with fries. I wasn't too wild on the taste of the meat or the sauce, but the cornbread was great. Halfway through eating my sandwich, one of the kids at our table found a long dark hair in his bbq ribs. After that I think everyone was done with eating because we were all double checking every bite we took and most lose their appetite. Once we told the waitress, she apologized and said that it was embarrassing and that it was the second time that day that someone had found a long dark hair in their food. She offered to get the kid something else, but he stated that he didn't want anymore to eat. I was also shocked afterwards that the manager didn't come over to the table to apologize or to inquire as to what happened. Once we went up to pay, the cashier got the manager to come over and speak with my father in law. The manager took the kids meal off the bill, apologized, and said that it was embarrassing and that he hoped we would come back and try it again sometime. After we left, the kid said that he didn't want to go back again. Maybe it was an off night for them after reading the other reviews. I'll end by saying please get your employees some hair nets!

Since I work in Whitesburg, I was pleased to see a new restaurant open on Main Street. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and although I'm only in town during normal 9-5 work hours, I understand they have a variety of musical entertainment some evenings. You can now have a brewed beverage with your meal. (And they understand that a Reuben isn't a Reuben without a pickle spear. Do you hear me, Arby's?)
Arby's is a leading global quick-service restaurant company operating and franchising over 3,400 restaurants worldwide. Arby's was the first nationally franchised, coast-to-coast sandwich chain and has been serving fresh, craveable meals since it opened i
I like the curly fries The ham & cheese sandwich isn't what it was once before I got it & the ham was juicy the cheese looked like it'd been melted with a microwave oven the bread was soggy wish they'd go back to the way they used to make them & bring back the hot ham & cheese sub those were delicious
One of my favorite places to get great tasting chicken! The staff are friendly and the manager has been there for many years! The restaurant itself needs some updating on decor and a couple of their booths need repair. This is a favorite for a lot of the older people in town. Today I had a roasted chicken breast and chicken livers. They were delicious and the chicken was noisy and tender! Give me a thumbs up for a helpful vote! Stop in for great chicken and biscuits!!
