Mitaâs, the second restaurant from James Beard Nominated, Chef Jose Salazar is named after his Colombian grandmother, his âMita.â. Mitaâs eclectic, farm-inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin Americ
A delightful Spanish tapas restaurant with exceptional service. The menu is a bit small for tapas, and could use an expansion, but all dishes were well executed. Batatas Bravas, delicious chunks of potatoes seasoned with pepper, were delightful, as was the ceviche. The short rib empanadas were the best I'd ever eaten.

With a plethora of Mexican restaurants in my opinion there are good ones and wannabes. Frida falls in the latter. Itâs reasonably priced, bustling spot. The Beef Empanadas and side of Brussel Sprouts were tops. The Ceviche was ok, missing the depth and flavors of Ceviches I am accustomed to. The Guacamole was also okay, a lot smoother and creamier vis vis chunkier. We had Burrito Bowls, good but first order returned as they were cold. This seemed shocking to staff and it took 3 people to the Manager who quickly resolved.Hi there! We're very sorry that we missed the mark this time around. We certainly hope that you will give us another chance soon - I assure you this is not our standard. Thank you for your feedback!

I was looking for Mexican food and it seems that Mexican isnât too widely available in Cincinnati (except of course fast food). I found La Mexicans on Trip Advisor and TA once again was spot on!To start, friendly staff, clean but, it was a bit of a âhole in the wallâ - donât let that scare you!Chips and salsa- some of the best Iâve ever had. Light crispy chips and salsa was medium spice and excellent consistency. I had tacos (it was $2 tacos Tuesday). Chicken tacos were excellent. Nice flavor and lots of cilantro and other fixins. I will definitely return.

We walked in on a Thursday evening and were seated immediately in the outdoor area out back. The decor is fun and the food options are delightful.
