Colby's Deli is Owensboro's only deli. They offer freshly prepared sandwiches and daily specials. Fantastic quiches and clubs with homemade potato chips. Quickly prepared by friendly staff. You can get in and out of here in less than 10 minutes for lunch. Great for takeout.

Take-home lunch. The pork BBQ is tasty and local. The Bourbon Q chicken sandwich was excellent. I appreciate that the deli allowed me to sample the sides so I could pick out one that I wanted. I appreciate the Kentucky Proud menu. The price is good. The soups looked awesome!

I stopped to get a tuna sub here recently and it was great. Look it is hard to mess up a simple sub, but sandwich artists do it all the time, but not here. I have been in this place several times, service is always great, it is clean and they make a great sub.

I was excited to learn that Owensboro was getting a deli, and disappointed once I ate there.Service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean.Tables were not cleared.It was busy and service time was appropriate.We typically eat at Jasonâs Deli so we cannot help comparing. McAlisterâs was more expensive. The sides were not as good as Jasonâs. The bread on my sandwich was just mediocre, grocery store bread. The meat portion was not as plentiful. They were out of corned beef. They got my husbandâs order wrong, which they did remedy.Unfortunately what needs to be fixed, cannot be fixed, so we wonât be back.
