This is normally one of our favorite places to go when visiting the RRG. Before our trip on July 4th I checked their website and Facebook and they'd made no announcement of closing, so we passed by other restaurants that were definitely open to make our way here. We arrive to a closed restaurant and a dog barking inside. This trip could have been avoided if they'd simply posted that they were closed. However, this did allow us to go to Skybridge Station for the first time and it was great.

Tylerâs has a welcoming atmosphere, a family-run feel to it. My group of five and I were kindly greeted when we entered, and served promptly. Itâs a small dining area, well-lit by natural sunlight, and very quiet at lunch time. The menu offers country cooking: fries and onion rings, grilled or crispy chicken, slaw, chicken and dumplings, soup beans and cornbread, salads, chili, and so on. They serve a good quality meal; my crispy chicken sandwich and fries were hot and fresh. Nothing fancy, but they serve a satisfying meal.
My colleagues and I ate here on one of our visits to Campton and had the pleasure of meeting the owners as well as being served their famous fare that has kept them in business for around 30 years. Your served a side of coleslaw if you buy a box lunch (mine was cheeseburger and fries and a drink) for a good round number of five dollars. Our waitress that day was so quick and friendly as well. The place is absolutely decked out with Wildcat gear (Go Big Blue!) which is really fun! This is a great place to get a good meal at a good price as well as to find out from the local community (the owners are very active volunteers and care very much about their hometown) about more to explore in this beautiful county.

Granted, the Red River Gorge does not offer many dining options but this place is consistently good. Located at the corner of Highway 15 and CR 715, the Sky Bridge Station is a welcoming cabin with draft beers, bourbon, and terrific quesadillas, burgers, hot dogs, and chili. This is our regular stop after a morning hike. The owners and staff are super friendly, and the place offers live music some evenings. The place also offers some hostel-style beds for rent. We have not stayed here so I cannot answer any questions about how this works. Well worth visiting!
