As first time visitors we weren't that impressed with the mid price range dining scene in Lexington when we looking through menus. Then we found this place. Authentic and creative South American food ranging from appetisers, small tapas like plates and more substantial entrees. So flavoursome. Excellent margaritas too. Try the strawberry and kiwi if available. The home made chips with various dip options were great, the tacos were great, in fact everything was great. Service was also very good, friendly and efficient. Prices are not high. Really can't fault this place and it was super busy when we there between 7 and 9pm on a Thursday with a good ambience. It's walk up only, no reservations. You should definitely pay this place a visit.

Chips were very light and fresh. Salsa was good. We had the tacos El Carbon - one steak and one chicken. Pretty much fajita meat in a soft tortilla. Not much originality. There was not a lot of different tacos on the menu to choose from. The beans were very good bit the rice tasted like it had to much cumin. Overall decent but I am sure there are better Mexican restaurants in Lexington.
