Not been in before, due to so many choices at this Exit 49, off of the Louie B. Nunn CUMBERLAND Parkway. Sometime "Ya just gotta have Mexican," & you're in a hurry. I enjoyed the Mexican Pizza, which they fixed to my pleasure. The wait / server staff were very friendly, making me wonder why I hadn't been here before, as there used t be another EAT'n place here. Across from McD's & Pizza Hut, which one would not notice, at first. Plenty of easily accessible parking, on the RIGHT, from the parkway.

I love Acapulco in my home town. The food here was TERRIBLE! The meat in my burrito tasted bad and the sauce was horrible. My daughter's was just as bad. Tacos were too greasy to pick up. Had to eat it with a fork. We hardly ate our food. Waitress didn't seem to notice we weren't eating. It was late and we didn't want to complain. One word: TERRIBLE

Lets just say I've never had a quesadilla made with corned beef. I'm sure it must have been good when it first opened but clearly there is no chef running the kitchen. Not only did it have the wrong meat, this entree that is suppose to be loaded with cheese was lucky to find any. Must say the tortilla was crisp and good. If it was just the quesadilla that would be one thing but the whole meal was wrong. Although you got a lot, the Spanish rice had just a slight red hue and was flavorless. The refried beans were watery and had an odd taste. The other entree ordered was the California burrito with mixed meats, or so it was claimed. It was large no doubt but it came drowned in a ghastly red sauce and buried beneath a pile of processed yellow cheese. The look was unappealing. It was mostly filled with the flavorless lightly red hue rice. The couple of pieces of chicken found were dry and tough. The other piece of what is assumed the beef was chewy and inedible. The pork was never found. The 4, yes 4, small slivers of green peppers found were the best out of the entire meal. The ladel full of hard, attempt of sautééd onion destroyed it all. Both meals were inedible. Not only was the food poor but service matched. We were seated promptly but thats probably because it was empty. The only time we saw anyone was when they brought the food and then when they brought the check, halfway through our meal. Good thing they didn't ask if we wanted desert, although a drink refill would have been nice. Guess they were more interested in the soccer game blaring from the large tv. They were all crowded around it after all.The decor was dated but decent. Overall, I can not suggest this place.
