I love Indian food and to be fair I'm in an area with lots of great Indian food, so I hold the bar pretty high. While not the most amazing experience I've had with Indian food, this wasn't a bad meal. The restaurant wasn't fancy and was a little tired but it was clean. There was plenty of seating and parking.Food was pretty good. My friend and I got the sampler which is the way to go if you want to try a few different items. It wasn't bad. We got mango lassis which were more yogurty than mango-y. I prefer it the other way around, but that's just preference. They weren't bad.Wait staff weren't overly friendly or smiley, but I think some of this was cultural. We did chat with a few of them at the very end and they seemed a little more pleasant once they got talking. Not a bad experience.

Clearly one of the best Indian restaurants we've visited. Prompt, friendly service, and the coriander chicken was amazing. Reasonable prices and pleasant atmosphere. Our new Indian restaurant of choice in the region.

We were looking for a different place to eat, and found the Masala just around the corner from our hotel. The owners were friendly and attentive. Portions were generous. I had the Lamb Masala and my wife had the Beef Curry. We both loved the Lamb, but the beef looked like Sausage. The vegetables with the Beef were not all cooked. We both agreed that the Lamb was done right, but maybe the Beef was of a style we were not familiar with. We would go back again if we were there, as we felt it was still a good experience.
