We were visiting Louisville and arrived into our hotel room late. We were hungry and decided instead of running out to use the Uber Eats delivery service. We searched area restaurants and were elated to find a Double Dogs nearby. We love Double Dogs and have visited other locations in Nashville on many occasions. So our decision was already made and we could not wait to receive our order. My wife and I both ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich with a side order of Thai Pasta Salad. We have eaten this order at other locations and love it. Once our food arrived I dug into the sandwich while my wife went for her pasta salad. YUK! The sandwich was dry with absolutely no mayonnaise, the chicken must have been left out for the day because it was also extremely dried out. After a few bites followed by a drink of water after each bite to help wash it down, I finally gave up and leftover 2/3 of the sandwich for the trash. The Pasta Salad had the pasta along with some onion and peas but was also dry, there was no, zero, zilch Thai dressing or seasonings. The pasta was extremely starchy and virtually impossible to eat. My wife had already stopped eating hers and told me to eat it. We ended up throwing the entire order away because it was not edible as delivered. After throwing our $33 order into the trash uneaten we left the hotel and hit a Waffle House up the street, which we should have done in the first place. The sad part is we have always loved Double Dogs, and have left all the other locations 5-Stars. If this had been our first time we would have never gone back. So, we will hit Double Dogs when we are back in Nashville but otherwise, this was a once and done for this location.

The beer is always good with a great selection. The service is slow. When we asked the hostess if we could move to a table with service she looked at me then offered to find someone. The garden salad is a field mix and just ok.

My wife and I ate there last night, and just didn't get $120 worth of food and drink. First, the drinks were great, Kevin's Allen Wrench is a definite winner. My wife liked her cocktail, and then the Malbec selection she picked. Then, the presentation of the Wonton appetizer dish was great, but you have to go to Bristol to get good wontons. My wife got the Mussels, and she said really good, as well as her salad. But, they were nothing special, and for the price it should be special. Now, my "Hotter Brown" was terrible, in addition to being a heart attack in a dish. The mixture of cheese, cream, and whatever else was in it just didn't work. When it started to congeal in cooling, it was actually gross looking. The bacon in the dish also seemed to have barely cooked bacon, with lots of fat, in it. Honestly, the hot brown and Wild Eggs is better.I don't know what happened last night, but it will probably be several months before we try this place again. What a shame.

Attended a continuing education program but the cheese stuffed bacon wrapped dates, crab cakes with lemony hollandaise sauce, fancy tater totâs, grilled Brussels sprout salad, filet and Desert was outstanding!!! Entrée portions are small but if you get so many appetizers you donât really have to worry about it!!! Portions

This Roosters is in the old Rafferty's location. The atmosphere is very good, and the food is too. Had the boneless wings in honey bbq sauce with an order of pretzels with nacho cheese. A very good dining experience with good service and plenty of TVs to watch the games.

Congested location to get to sometimes. Same thing inside. Sometimes have to wait for a table. Sports bar type atmosphere. Great pretzels. Enormous selection of beer. Suggest avoid busy times for a wonderful experience. Prices average. Service is excellent. Ample parking. Will return.

We were in town for a nearby appointment and looking for a place for a bite before heading back to Frankfort. This is a sprawling, large establishment, looks like they have a big outdoor area too. As it was winter and very cold, we didn't do much exploring! We sat at the bar and had great service from a couple different female bartenders. They were helpful, friendly and polite! There are many different beers on tap and we had enjoyed a dollar off each because it was happy hour. They did give me a sample to taste when I asked. The happy hour prices are half off of most of their appetizers (I remember wings and nachos were not half off). We had the blackened fish tacos, buffalo chicken dip and shrimp cocktail. The fish tacos were the real star - three good size tacos,I would order them again as my meal! The buffalo chicken dip is as expected - I always enjoy it and of course, you know it is going to be creamy and rich.My only "ding" was the shrimp cocktail. While it was perfectly fine for the happy hour price of half off, it would have not been worth full price. Nothing was wrong with it, but for full price, I would have expected more shrimp of larger shrimp. We would go back here again, the salads sounded quite interesting to me before I was lured to the appetizers.

A restaurant that loves beer and a bar that loves food. Over 20 craft beers on tap, big burgers and the freshest sushi in town. Your go-to for lunch, dinner and late-night, Drake's is a free-wheeling, fun-loving kind of joint. A place to hang out and let
We arrived on a Sunday evening (trivia night) when they had about 1/3 open tables, so there was plenty of seating. We waited at least fifteen minutes before a server ever came to our table, then we waited an additional 1.25 hours for our meals to be made (sushi, turkey sandwich, & mini cheeseburgers). Once we were finished eating our meal, we sat there another thirty minutes just to get our bill. With three children at the table, that is WAY too long. Our waiter would completely disappear for 20-30 minutes at a time, never offering refills asking if we needed anything else. Good Afternoon,Please allow me to apologize for the disappointing service on your most recent dining experience with us. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction, 100% of the time and didn't live up to this statement. If you could please provide the best phone number or email address, I would like for the manager to contact you about this feedback.Thank You,Angie [email protected] Guest Relations

Can't say I have made a bad choice on the food selection. Their burgers are definitely good.Usually some good local and overall solid choices for their draft lists. Specifically cocktails their Kentucky Lavender mule is extremely refreshing.
Although Rootie's did not invent the buffalo-style chicken wing, it sure went a long way to perfect this culinary delight. Award winning, authenticity counts as the tradition lives on in Louisville with Rootie's arrival from Buffalo, New York and Coconut
My wife and I ate dinner here on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. The owner, Marty Stein, owned Rootie's Pump Room in Getzville, NY, near the Amherst Campus of SUNY/Buffalo. In my student days in the '80s I ate many chicken wings at Rootie's. During a recent trip to Louisville I learned that Marty had reopened a Rootie's in the area so I decided to visit. This Rootie's was out-of-the way, but if you like chicken wings, make the trip. Delicious. I said hello to Marty. Our server, Morter, was nice.
