This is my favorite Mexican chain. First of all, all their meat products come from animals that have been raised organically and butchered humanely. Second, they have the best salsa bar I have ever tried. Don't miss the green chile salsa. They also have a kids menu. My grandson loves it.
It's not a fancy place and it's bigger inside than you might expect for being in a strip mall. But the food is very good, tasting home-cooked. The menu has all the typical items you find at most Mexican restaurants but also has several items I wasn't familiar with. The waitress was very pleasant and took our orders promptly. I ordered carnitas. This is an item that can be very good or just blah when it's over-cooked. Here it was very good. The portion of meat was large, fork-tender and very flavorful. It came with a small salad that included a dollop of fresh guacamole which was excellent. It also came with the usual sides of rice and refried beans (black instead of the more usual pinto). The rice was OK, the beans were delicious (I wish I had a larger portion). The meal also came with four freshly made corn tortillas which were also delicious. My companion ordered a plate of nachos with beef and he declared the beef to be almost as good as my carnitas. His order came with more of the wonderful guacamole. While we waited we munched on freshly made tortilla chips and homemade salsa that was spicy but not "hot". We found this place via reviews on another site. It's time for tripadvisor travelers to discover this El Oasis. It's near several hotels (all just on the other side of I-71/75) and the hospital. They serve a buffet lunch which we'll check out next time we're Florence at lunchtime. It's in the row of storefronts perpendicular to Big Lots. If you go past the Office Depot on Turfway you've gone too far.

A very pleasant surprise! We were staying at the Springhill Suites next door and didn't want to wander too far for dinner. The El Mariachi is right next door, and we love Mexican food, so decided to give it a try. Patricia was our waitress and she couldn't have been better....our food and drinks came amazingly quickly, she was friendly and efficient and...the food was fantastic...I could taste the fresh ingredients, and price was so good. We're going back...for sure! We even got a 15% discount because we mentioned we were stayed next door.

Exceptionally long time and the restaurant was not even that crowded. Fries and kids burgers came out cold. Disappointed in the service. Usually Chuys is great but not this time. After my husband found the large tooth pick inside of his burrito they gave us a free meal. That's not what we wanted.. Just to enjoy our vacation dinner

I sat at the bar. Bar staff was entertaining. The chips were thick and overcooked. The salsa was OK, but made the chips palatable.I had a chicken burrito, don't recall it's name, but it had three different sauces poured over which made it look very colorful. The presentation was excellent, the flavor tasted mostly like onions.Overall, the food OK. (And I did not have a beer or margarita because of work.)
Where to eat Chinese food in Erlanger: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This particular restaurant was next to my hotel, so it made for a convenient dinner location for a quick bite to eat. The staff were very friendly and the menu was typical to a taqueria, featuring a range of meats from your typical fare to offal, served with sliced onions and some salsa. The food was simple and very enjoyable. Recommended.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in NKY! My family and I have been going to Acapulcoâs since they were attached to the Baymont Inn and Suites by the interstate. They have fresh salsa that is packed with flavor, the portions sizes are huge compared to the price, and the staff are always so nice! These pictures are from lunch; we ordered their huevos con chorizo, and their lunch portion of fajitas. 10/10 recommend coming here!

I recently began a whole plant-based diet program...and eating at a restaurant can be difficult...challenging. However, the veggie fajitas with cilantro lime rice and black bean side was a perfect choice. Abuelos provided an easy, filling and delicious meal for this vegetarian newby. Yum!
This Mexican Restaurant was in front of the Red Roof Inn. A real jewel. Fast and attentive staff. Daily specials for lunch and dinner. $4.99 for lunch. A whole page of lunch specials. I had the half portion of shredded beef chimichanga with cheese sauce for $6.99. Scrumptious lunch. I had chicken fajita special for dinner for $10.99. Very generous portions. The next day, after visiting The Creation Museum, we headed south. Deciding on where to go for lunch. Back to Amigos. Opened a few months ago, but word has not gotten out.
Small little place that just opened a month ago. Carnitas are excellent. The owner is super friendly. Will be a great carry out place for the family.
