Reviews on Bar food in Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States. Known primarily as the only place in the U.S. that manufactures Corvettes and for the large ancient cavern that sits in the center of the city, Bowling Green has built a thriving tourist business on cars and caves. At the General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant, visitors can see the step-by-step production of America's favorite sports car. The Corvette Museum includes one-of-a-kind prototypes, that were designed but never manufactured, among other Corvette memorabilia. To view awesome creations made by nature head to the Lost River Valley and Cave. Take the underground boat tour, on the shortest deep river in the world, to see a land formation that is more than 10,000 years old and has been used as shelter by Native Americans and Civil War soldiers. Though Bowling Green never officially left the Union, it's home to a number of historic war landmarks, exquisite old homes and remarkable buildings that can be visited on foot or by car during a leisurely drive through this beautiful part of the country.

We flew into Nashville earlier in the day and werenât looking for a full meal so we had appetizers and drinks. I must say the BBQ Shrimp was our favorite, it was awesome. Our second favorite was the perfectly cooked Calamari and third favorite (still awesome) was the Cajun Spring Rolls.

Went to pub novolog on a Thursday early evening. Our server was very friendly and informative. Get the bison burger, it was delicious. The portions are large. Wines by the glass selection was good. I wish we had places like this closer to where we live. Our server was attentive & brought my husband another glass of water without having to be asked. If you're traveling to BG, don't miss it, especially if you're a foodie.

Been here numerous times and is usually our go-to for date night. The food is great, it's right around Bowling Green's downtown square and service was excellent. My husband got the special which was a burger with pineapple, guac, onion, bbq, cheese, and tomato. I got the pork tenderloin sandwich which came out piping hot and sweet potato fries. The drink menu looked extensive and they had specials as well.

We have always loved eating here but our last two visits have been very disappointing. In both cases they were clearly understaffed, forcing the wait staff to actually run between tables. They tried, but their overworked situation resulted in wrong orders, missing food, and no drinks. It was a disaster, plus the food was much worse than on our previous visits. We wonât be returning until they hire enough cooks and staff to make dining there an enjoyable experience again (maybe never)

Novo Dolce is located in a beautiful part of Bowling Green that has won an award for the Bowling Green Operation Pride. This growing area is close to WKU's Campus, therefore convenient for students and teachers to grab a quick, affordable, and delicious l
Really hard to choose what I wanted to try. Almost ordered the Pork Belly BLt but went with the Chorizo Burger. It was fantastic! Beer selection is good. My wife had a Margherita Pizza, it was tasty too. Nice place with good service. Will be back for sure.

Nice restaurant with good atmosphere. Ordered the dog dish nachos which were just okay. Even though I love nachos and understand they are naturally somewhat messy, these were just slopped together. Lots of cold tortilla chips with burned edges on the sides and top of a (real) dog dish with some toppings that I made my way through only to discover loads of gloppy goo on the bottom covering saturated chips. Yuck. Also, not a fan of the sausage topping. Regardless, I would have enjoyed my lunch more had it been constructed with a bit more thought and care. The service was attentive and good.

Aside from an incredibly good server, there's little to lure you back to this restaurant. Although its menu and prices seem to want to be a fine dining establishment, the atmosphere itself is strictly college beer joint -- blaring music, central noisy bar, people shout-talking to be heard. Definitely not a pleasant dining experience. Food itself might have risen above average had it not been served barely warm. The rotisserie chicken was cooked through but barely lukewarm, and the grilled asparagus was cold. Dining partner sent back a baked potato that was simply too cold to be edible, but the steak was apparently freshly grilled because it was the only thing served that was hot. Desert cheesecake was served with frozen strawberries (no excuse) and a too-strong chocolate drizzle that destroyed the taste of the cheesecake, which, albeit with a somewhat soggy graham cracker crust, wasn't too bad. Would not return.

Excellent food, attentive staff. We had 3 different people ask us a total of 6 times, during a routine lunch, if everything was ok. I hate to complain about something like this but it got a bit annoying. Also, a suggestion for servers, if the customerâs change for a twenty dollar bill is $5, bring me ones if you want a tip.

Quirky place. Ambiance makes it a place youâd want to take out of town guests to visit. Craft Beer - the pale ale is a little hoppy, there are 2 other choices. Food: Fish was âfishyâ tasting, batter was mealy, tarter sauce was nothing more than Mayo - Alice in Wonderland sandwich - a giant club and the fries were just right, hot and crispy. This is a happy place - hospitality shines.
