This Texas Roadhouse is fairly new and built next to Kroger. It has plenty of good parking. The menu is typical Texas Roadhouse. The staff is good and prompt.

Casual American Dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Pasta, Steaks, Seafood and much more.
A group of about 20 made an unplanned visit for dinner as we were staying nearby, food was great and plentiful and the waitress coped really well with the sudden influx of diners. H can highly recommend the margaritas which were a bargain at $2. My chicken was really tender and moist too.

We started with loaded fries. They serve them with ranch dressing. It was the perfect combination. We both had their dinner salads. They have plenty of extra veggies. Again, very good. Hubby had fish and chips. Light breading, moist and flaky.Prime rib sandwich. I ordered without the bread, sauteed onions (definitely worth the $2) and baked sweet potato ~ Friday night special for $10.Ask for Stephanie. Excellent waitress, just the right amount of attention.

I was surprised how reasonably priced Captain D's was. I enjoyed fresh, blackened rainbow trout for the price of a burger and fries. If you're looking for affordable, healthy alternatives while traveling, look for a Captain D's.In Somerset, the Captain D's staff wax very friendly. And, the dining room was quite clean.

One of the best lunches I've had. I had the lump crab cakes served in a stack with fried green tomatoes, topped with black eyed pea salsa and a great sauce and feta cheese crumbles. My friend got a burger that was great and the meat was lean and sourced from a local supplier. Wish I lived close by, I'd be in here at least once a week. They serve mixed drinks, a great menu choice the only down side are there hours. Mainly just open for breakfast, brunch and lunch until 2 p.m. They also offer the place for special occasions and cocktail parties and such. The owner was so friendly, I wish her much success, she sure knows the business and does a great job.

My sister and I ate here for lunch and I walked away unimpressed. While I liked the idea of pineapple in chicken salad, the chicken salad was dry and relatively tasteless with the exception of the pineapple. I also ordered the spinach and bacon quiche. I really couldn't find the bacon but there was an over abundance of spinach and the quiche seemed to leave an aftertaste. The coconut cream pie was okay. My sister did enjoy her hamburger with a fried egg on top (can't remember the name of it). She said it was excellent. Staff was friendly.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Stopped in for breakfast with my wife. Ordered two sunrise samplers (huge amount of food but we were starved) Sampler comes with ham, sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, grits, fried apples, potato casserole, biscuits and gravy. I ordered my eggs over well. Wife ordered turkey sausage only with double order of potato casserole in place of fried apples and eggs over easy. When order came my eggs were over easy, bacon only. In all fairness, the restaurant was packed and server was constantly in motion. She spotted her mistake instantly and went about correcting it immediately. Within a couple of minutes I was happily stuffing my face with the corrected order. Coffee was never more that halfway empty. Food was it's usual great. Still think service was great because we all make mistakes and the secret to good service is making it right.

This restaurant is very busy, kinda noisy, but very good food and service. I had the ny strip steak, chili, and fries, all very delicious . My wife had roadkill lol. It was a nice chopped steak smothered in mushroom and onion and jack cheese. Very good. They have a nice selection of sides. She had nicely seasoned green beans and baked potatoes. Very good beer selection. Our server, Devon, was first rate.

I would say that overall itâs a great place for the food and the atmosphere. BUT the wait staff seem sometimes a little too âcoolâ to pay attention to âregularâ people. So donât be surprised if they get things mixed up and serve warm, not hot pizza, like they did tonight or the wrong order like last time, But eventually they will get you your order right if you keep asking.Tonight they were out of clean forks. , but....Great pizza!Ernie, I am so sorry for your most recent experience with us. Our goal is to provide all of our guests with the best service and product. Unfortunately, this time we failed to do so. Sonny's BBQ of Somerset. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Wife and I and friends ate lunch here. Wife that I each had pulled pork on a donut! Side items were barbecue baked beans and mac & cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. Price was good. Will be back!
