After a terrible breakfast experience at the DQ in Hindman, we were ready for lunch by the time we reached Arby's in Prestonsburg. Since it was our first visit to this restaurant, I ordered my standard Reuben combo, and my wife ordered a classic roast beef on a seed-free bun.The good: This Arby's knows to slice the Reuben, and mainly distribute the ingredients around the bread, unlike most Arby's around here which plop everything in the center of the bread. Both of our meals were very good, and the loaded curly fries could become addictive. The bad? My wife loves her unsweet tea with one or two Sweet'n'lows (the pink pack), but they did not stock this sweetener, so she switched to diet Mountain Dew.The Usual: As I've said before, a good Reuben is not complete without a pickle spear, and it is a rare Arby's which has any pickles at all. Pity. All in all, a very good visit. They also offer a Bourbon and Bacon Brisket, which I was tempted to try, but my Reuben is my favorite yardstick of value on a first visit. Maybe next time.
Being from Floyd County, I have came to miss Jerry's Restaurant. We elected to visit the restaurant after passing it several times, but not seeing many patrons. Combined with several folks saying that it was "pricey", but good. We visited with another couple and both couples had heard the food was good and thankfully elected to give it a try. We quickly learned that they are serving items so familiar to the Jerry's menu, things that were a staple to the restaurant such as; Cole Slaw that is a perfect match, a "J Boy", and the grandest of all... The hot fudge cake!!! They are all there, in classic form and taste, well we didn't try the J-Boy, which they have renamed, We ordered the Deep Fried Pickles as an appetizer, my wife had the sirloin tips and I had the 6oz sirloin with the twice baked potato and a double order of the famous cole slaw. We finished our meal stuffed but could not pass on the hot fudge cake, which came with 2 spoons and our 2 drinks.Everything we had was great, the service was top notch, and all of that meal only cost $35. I do not understand the "pricey" information we had received, but I felt the price was very reasonable, combined with the quality service and food.. Its a no-brainer!!! We are going back!!! Should be you interest, they had a well-stocked bar and since it was a week-end night, they were starting kareoke as we left.

When an order of Liver, cost $7.00, without a drink, it is time to leave and never return. I wish more people would walk out without ordering. Prices would drop to an appropriate level or they would be out of business.

For the money spent, $40 with tax and tip, I would not recommend the buffet. The ribs, fish, mashed potatoes and hush puppies were all dried up. I was surprised there wasn't gravy for the potatoes. Most of the food was tasteless. The only thing that was good was the ham salad and hot fudge pudding cake.

Visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday party and was pleasantly surprised. Great environment and great food! The party was in the upstairs room which was perfect for a group of 30 or less. Will be back

This is a really good bbq place. The salt and pepper wings were recommend, however I was somewhat disappointed. The green beans had no flavor. The ribs were slightly above average. The cornbread was FANTASTIC!! The atmosphere was really good. I like the one in Pikeville a little better.

We were in town for the Kentucky State Little league playoffs. This is the only decent restaurant we could find.We were staying in Paintsville KY and they have no decent restaurant that we could find. This is a small place but we ate here twice. They have great salads and smoothies. Kale salad very good. Also peanut butter smoothies made with soy milk and yogurt. I got a prime rib sandwich the second night I ate there. The beef might as well have been hamburger it was so over cooked therefore I have it a 4 instead of a five. They do have wine and beer.

We have been here quite a few times in the past. They have fantastic food and amazing cocktails that are reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Always had a great evening here. I would definitely recommend to go there.
