Stumbled on this location while antique shopping. Great lunch buffet. Servers were very friendly and food was great! Highly recommended.
The food is pretty darn good, but the service is a little lacking. The day we were there, it was one lady working as hostess, waitress and cashier ... only one lady for the entire restaurant. This was my third time to go there, but the only time they were open. They close at 2:00 pm ... well, sometimes they are open until 5 pm and sometimes they are open until 7 pm. I wish they had a better schedule.

Food for Fuel, no more. Part of a chain, I think, as there is another in Nashville TN
Had breakfast and dinner here. Food is always consistent and reasonable. Located near other fast food chains and off of interstate I-24.

One of the best dining options in the greater Cadiz area, The Pier Floating Restaurant offers a lakefront breakfast, dinner and lunch in late Spring, Summer and Fall. Join us for a memorable dining experience with great food and views. Enjoy our new menu
This restaurant is connected to the Prizer Point KOA main store. It's relatively small and has a modest menu. We ate there three times during our stay. I would say the food portions are about average. The staff is very friendly, but the food was somewhat generic.

This is a small town diner that has been open for around 30 years or so. That being said, it looks as if there have been no updates done to the interior or exterior in all that time. The outside needs a good sweeping. Cigarette butts were everywhere around the front door. However, the restaurant was packed and every time I have ever driven by, it is full. This was my first visit. I chose to get the buffet. It was Sunday and the Church crowd was just finishing up. I just had to wait a few minutes to have fresh fried chicken and a new pan of cornbread dressing put out. I had fried chicken, dressing & giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and yeast rolls. The yeast rolls were delicious! Homemade like my Mom used to make. The fried chicken was hot, juicy, crispy and well seasoned. It was very good. The mashed potatoes were good. The cornbread dressing was good but a little under seasoned. Needed salt and a little more celery & onion. I did enjoy it though. The giblet gravy was bland. I liked the boiled eggs in it and the giblets. The gravy itself needed seasoning and turkey drippings. The veggies were nothing special. The server was so nice and working so hard for the crowd. The food is home made. I enjoyed my meal. It is what it is...an old diner. I would go back just for the fried chicken alone. Warning...they allow smoking in one section. I thought Kentucky banned smoking in all restaurants but I guess I was wrong. They need to ban smoking in all restaurants. I have asthma and it is not a pleasant environment to walk into. Thankfully I was seated at the opposite end of the restaurant where the smoking section was. Oh, one more thing, the buffet is a very tight squeeze in a corner and there is no clear direction on which way to go. People were going around it two ways and it was a little uncomfortable to squeeze by. The vegetable section is blocked off by the end of the salad bar, so, it seems an awkward set up.

This is a great place! A bit out of the way unless you are visiting Lake Barkley. The buffet was superb! Great view while dining! I felt the prices were under other similar venues! Recommended!

Have had their smoked chicken before (take out), which was the reason for this visit. Got the smoked chicken tacos...the smoked chicken was good but thatâs about all that was good. The taco was overpriced for what it was in comparison to similar bbq tacos Iâve had elsewhere. Wife got the smoked chicken plate with a side of Mac and cheese and it was basically just a lump of mush...the flavor was good but the noodles had been way over cooked. Service was excruciatingly slow. Unless itâs just to pick up some of the smoked chicken, I doubt Iâll return.

My dad's name is Farrell, so this was on the "to try" list. Very crowded, but staff friendly and paid attn to details. That said, it's a burger place. Mine was a bit dry, but dad had cheese with his and said it wasn't dry at all. Will eat again when in area, but we found couple of places that I will most certainly revisit before this one. Of note, it is a local favorite and parking lot always full when we go by.

Hands down, Harper House is the best restaurant we've been to in the 3 years of living in south central Kentucky. Excellent food, nice atmosphere and impressive drink menu. Prices were higher than most restaurants in the area, but you wont find a finer dining experience any where else. The service was the only thing that could have been improved, the waiter did not let us know about the specials and my wife's salad came before our appetizers. The filet my wife had was cooked perfect, my ribs were some of the best I've ever had. The sides were excellent, cocktails were amazing and the bourbon banana dessert was legendary! Will definitely be back.
