I usually do not review "fast food" locations as they are under a disadvantage, but felt this location to be below the norm. We arrived at perhaps shift change, and everything seemed disorganized. Nothing seemed to be where it should be, and had to go to counter to ask for items such as condiments, forks, and napkins. All of the tables had been picked up, but none of them were cleaned. The orders were filled properly, but the sides were cold and hard.

We wanted some good food when staying the night and saw that this place had Italian, Mexican, and ribs. Well, that clinched it for us. It's unusual to have a local restaurant have so many choices. We had the ribs, and they were great. The Owner actually took our order and served us. We will certainly stop here again when in town.

Following morning League Tennis, we are enjoying our drive through Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. A dining objective is to visit several locally owned restaurants, which offer Appalachian dining. Smokehouse Grill & Buffet is both local and Appalachian. We understand that buffet dining will not display the best efforts of the cooks, and sometimes this is acceptable. The pork items and veggies were good. We did not sample the several chicken offerings.Ambience: Kentucky SmokehouseService: Very goodMenu: Kentucky SmokehouseDining: pork with veggies and other veggiesNoise Level: comfortableWe found an I-75 non-chain Kentucky Smokehouse.

The mashed potatoes were very cold. The gravy was tasteless. Had the fried livers. Very spongy. Did not get our appetizer. My husbands chicken was overdone. He had to go to the bathroom within 5 minutes. He said it tasted only of grease. The cold slaw was good but very small. Iâm use to a scoop at most places. This was more like a good table spoon. The fried apples were out of a can. The biscuit had not taste. Will not go back.

Just stopped here because we were visiting the Artisan Center. Bourbon chocolate and Bourbon Balls ice cream lured me in. I saw a lot of food laden trays walk by. All looked good. Wife caught up and decided to get a salad. Balanced my ice cream. Good iced tea.

We are so thankful for the owners of Native Bagel. It is a wonderful add to our little community. We love having somewhere to go to get fresh bagels. My hubby loves the egg and sausage bagels.

Extremely disappointed in the food. Had high hopes for the dining experience that serves as a training ground for Berea College culinary students. Dining room itself lovely with linen tablecloths and nice furniture. Perhaps later in the school year things will improve.Thank you for leaving a review, and I am sincerely sorry that this was your experience here in our restaurant. I hope you will come give us another chance in the future. Our menu does change seasonally, so please check back.
