Great one night stay. Excellent on all fronts. Mike was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable rooms. Very clean. Truly amazing choice of fresh fruit and continental style breakfast available. Really recommend this place if you're on the island.

Great hotel, big room with comfy beds, couldn’t fault the hotel, the lady who was on duty, when we arrived, she was fantastic, friendly chatty just an all round nice lady, (shame about the grumpy cleaner when leaving you couldn’t even get a good morning off her) but don’t let that put you off, I will definitely be back, £70 for the one night I booked was great value, personally I would of still been happy if it was £100 for the stay after all the Travelodge wanted £155 for the same date,

Stayed here recently as we had a wedding close by. We will definitely stay here again it’s an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Kent. We were really impressed with the quality of our lodge. It was spacious, spotlessly clean & decorated in a restful & stylish palette.

The room was very small, little storage room. Pub basic but clean. Disabled toilet cluttered Very comfortable bed, efficient heating. Ideal for just overnight or a few days. Staff extremely friendly and the food excellent. Would stay again. Great location.

Not many places do a traditional Sunday lunch anymore and fewer still do them as good as this. Set in a picturesque village location, overlooking the cricket green and offering a fantastic meal, a great service and in a lovely olde worlde pub. What more could you want ?

Our brand newly renovated hotel in Strood consists of 14 rooms providing both comfort and great value. Breakfasts and on site parking are both available subject to availability. We look forward to welcoming you
Reception welcome very good, so friendly, helpful and polite, even got shown to our room. After reading some reviews we were a tad concerned, but our twin room No13 was clean, bedding spotless and towels fresh. The decorative cushions had marks in back but they weren’t for sleeping on! Beds were comfy. Bathroom clean and modern with large shower. It was a very warm room, but we could open windows. We had one issue with a noisy fan in room below us, not fault of hotel but some inconsiderate person turning it on and going out! Manager soon turned it off- peace! We opted for breakfast, very nicely set out. Plenty to eat for a continental breakfast. I made myself a porridge and hubby had croissants and toast. You could have boiled eggs, beans, cereals, toast and preserves. Fresh fruit, juice teas and coffees included. Nice to have parking on site. Very happy with our bargain stay.

Wonderful break in this gorgeous pub. Room was outstanding- comfiest bed I have slept in. Very clean and everything you need. We ate in the pub every evening and wow portions are enough for 2! The landlords are welcoming and friendly. A great location to explore. We will be back.

Myself and my partner treated ourselves to a short weekend get away by the coast, following the birth of our son. Our room was on the smaller side but tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We did hear the church bells initially, but after an hour these faded away and we had a cosy nights sleep. Breakfast was included in our room rate, so we took full advantage! Good strong coffee and unusual breakfast dishes which we highly enjoyed. The dining at The Rose was probably the highlight of our stay, the food is delicious and very beautifully presented. Staff were friendly, attentive and highly accommodating. All in all we had a perfect get away as our first proper trip just the two of us. We will certainly be back to Deal in the future, this time with the little one in tow!

Only a few miles from Sissinghurst Gardens, at Wilderness Bed & Breakfast, guests can have the benefit of their own self contained accommodation and stay in either The Orchard Room or The Hopper's Room. Both of the rooms are separate to the 17th-century former farmhouse and having their own showers they are therefore ideal for long or short stays. We also have Bramley The Shepherd's Hut whic has been hand made by a local Kent craftsman in traditional style with its oak axles and metal wheels using original 19th century plans. No longer a humble hut for a shepherd during the lambing season it’s been brought up to date though as it is fully insulated from the elements with en-suite and high pressure shower, Wi-Fi and a fridge for your evening wine!
Wow! This place is beautiful! Rural countryside but just minutes from the local village in Headcorn. Great sized room and facilities. Lovely host. Breakfast provided and good restaurants nearby in a few different villages. Would highly recommend.

Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided at Keynes College, University of Kent. Communal laundry facilities and an iron and ironing board are available. Canterbury West Train Station is 20 minutes' walk away, with a high-speed service to London.
The price was in the same bracket as Bangor College in Wales. No comparison in quality. Bangor was spotless, fully geared up to visitors and standards were high for the price. There was no printed information on arrival at Keyne's College - we were told to use the 'App' which didn't help. The positives were a private wet room/toilet and the hot and cold breakfast offering. The negatives were many. This was obviously student accommodation hastily vacated for the Summer break to be rented out to the unsuspecting traveller for more than it was worth. The bed comprised a wooden box frame with the thinnest mattress I've ever seen. The springs could be felt moving every time I turned over. The duvet was cheap and thin. There were numerous marks on the walls where posters had obviously been ripped off with no attempt to repair the damage prior to renting to visitors. The seal had perished on the small double glazed window which had fogged up. An Italian restaurant/takeaway was advertised, but was not open - only for breakfast. The only other evening food we could source was in a basic student bar with a choice of Chicago Town pizzas (3 choices) or toasties. After a bad night's sleep on the uncomfortable bed, we headed into Canterbury the next day. By lunchtime we had decided to vacate the room one day early, not wanting to waste another night there. On the way back, through the dilapidated gardens a group of what we assumed to be students (well spoken) were manoeuvering the filthiest pair of mattresses to project themselves onto the top of an ornamental sculpture with no regard for anyone else walking past. When we stated to the person on Reception we were checking out early as the accommodation was not what we had been led to expect, there was no enquiry as to what was wrong and no offer of reimbursement of any kind. We do not recommend this establishment, they have no idea of customer service at all. We do recommend that, if they continue to offer accommodation, they lower their price to that of a youth hostel which would be more in keeping with what they are offering.
