My family loves both char-grilled and raw oysters. Both were great! We also shared a fried seafood basket in hallowed-out bread. The seafood was fried to perfection. Breading was seasoned, but lightly enough that the fresh seafood shone. Even though we dined at a really busy time, service was great. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

When we first walked in, all the staff were welcoming. As visitors from New Zealand they explained the menu and how the whole process worked. It seemed a bit chaotic at first however, Service was fast and the food tasty. Prices were reasonable. We left smelling a little like delicious BBQ, but it was worth it. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and had an excellent flavor. The jumbo shrimp and catfish platter was delicious. The voodoo special, half rack of ribs, and a half pound of your choice of meat, was enough for the entire family. As we sit here now wallowing in our self-inflicted gluttony it would have been a good idea to share one of the three meals listed. The fries are perfect, the potato salad is delicious, this mac and cheese was creamy and the sweet potato souffle can act as a dessert. This sure was a pleasure on our stay over for the New Orleans Airport. PS: I noticed that they deliver with waitr.

Stopped in for the first time recently with some business colleagues. The bar service and wait staff were friendly and welcoming. The BBQ shrimp and Hebert’s fries as apps were pretty tasty. The catfish was pretty good and everyone’s meals were prepared as ordered. In general everyone enjoyed the first time experience.

Great local place with awesome seafood. This is where the locals eat. Great crawfish, shrimp & blue crabs and cold beer. We eat here every time we come to New Orleans.

One would think that in and around Kenner, with the large Hispanic population, there would be some good muy-authentico restaurants. And there probably are. But Don Jose's is not one of them. It is a safe, decent, gringo-focused menu, with safe food preparations and high-volume food and drinks. The margarita was 80% sweet and sour, and 20% alcohol, in a giant fisg bowl. Cute and very grongo-centric, but far from well done. But everything was okay, so 3 stars of 5. I must believe there are far better, smaller, chef-owner places around Kenner more rewarding. Stay tuned....I'll find one.

We ate here at the recommendation of a hotel clerk and she wasn't wrong...white linen napkin place settings, a booth that we sank into, authentic Italian décor and flawless service for our lunch made this an outstanding experience. Been to Zea's a number of times. Never reviewed. Zea's never disappoints. On this visit I had their Rotisserie Chicken. They cook this just right and it is always good. For sides I had the corn grits and green beans. Both very good. I started with a Caesar Side Salad. Very good. The one thing about Zea's is that their offerings are always consistently good. Suggest a visit to Zea's if you are in the vicinity.

We asked at the golf course for a great local place for lunch by the airport and the man didn't hesitate when recommending this place. Everything we ate was amazing at great places. They have every beer you could ever want. Some of the highlights: blackened alligator, fried shrimp and the onion rings. Service was also very pleasant as we sat at the bar.
