I was deceived by the photographs in those online booking websites. Not clean. Bed sheets not clean. Very expensive for such poor quality. Booked 3 nights, checked out after the first night itself. TV is fixed so high up at the border of the ceiling and wall.

Very quiet part of town. Walking distance to downtown so that’s convenient. Have own covered parking space. We got a room that was on the 3rd floor. Everything was ok except that there was no fridge. It is like renting the room for 2 nights, no housekeeping. Apparently all units (rooms) are privately owned. The hallway is dirty. Not sure whether there’s maintenance. Not a place i would go back.

The whole building is called KBCP ie Kota Bharu City Point. Ground floor is for commercial shop lots while 3 floors above are for studio apartments. A few companies manage units of apartment under their care so you may have a few operators managing units in the same complex. Adha Studio is one of them. Building has underground parking. There ate lifts (elevators). When i entered the room with key slot for power, I knew then that they have refurbished the place hotel style. It is a studio like most rooms in Japan and Korea where you find simple cooking facilities. So this place is equipped with adequate powered air-conditioner, satellite TV, fridge, kitchen n utensils, hot shower, a queen bed and a single bed. For RM100 or so thats pretty decent. Its location is central (after all it was rebuilt on the site of the old central market) with shops all around. Kota Bharu is not a large town so for most parts its walkable. There are laundry and convenient shop on the ground floor. A cab station for inter town travel. Just 2 blocks away from the colourful central and batik markets and rows and rows of gold shops. For horologists, there is an outlet that sells high grade preowned watches at Jalan Dato Pati. Highly recommended if you don’t expect porters, concierge and room service.

Cons : 1. Bed sheet had stains 2. Shower water heater doesn't work 3. Shower water pressure is too low 4. Kitchen utensils are dirty 5. Towels provided are dirty 6. Hotel management are just too lazy, they did not seem interested in looking into my concerns about the room, which mainly was about the shower and gave every reason to not have settle the problem at hand. Even denied my request to change rooms due to 'all apartments are fully booked'. 7. Forget about watching TV since ALL the channels are blurry and badly calibrated. 8. Wall cracks and paint peeling off it. Pros : 1. Near to HUSM which is where I'm currently attached to. 2. Quick check in.

Risultato? Blatte in cucina, in bagno, ovunque. Ringraziamo e andiamo via.
