Discover Restaurants offering the best Cafe food in Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. Langkawi is a serene archipelago of 140 islands – only a few of which are inhabited. The largest of these is the eponymous Langkawi Island, which has UNESCO World Geopark status because of its richly populated (by wildlife, that is) conservation areas. The best way to experience these ecological wonders is from high above, on the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches above the rainforest. Cheekily-named Pregnant Maiden freshwater lake is a great place to take a dip or play keep-away with the kleptomaniac monkeys.

We serve all day breakfast, desserts and the best coffee in town. Lunch and dinner also available.
A coffee shop / restaurant / lounge with character, a great vibe, excellent music, great true coffees, perfect food (with a fusion twist) and a highly friendly staff. There is an outdoor seating with beach and sea views, cool couches and seats for reading a book or working. I visited Huggin Hippo for lunch, dinner, breakfast, coffee and drinks and felt home right away. In my opinion, the very nicest place I have come across during my 1 month trip in Malaysia. Highly recommended!
Offers the quintessential British-Malayan cuisine and the tradition of partaking in afternoon tea would not go astray in the archetypal colonial settings of the Straits & Co. Located on the ground floor, overlooking the infinity pool, the café carries the
Want to treat yourself to an English-type afternoon tea while you're on your beach holiday? Get yourself to The Danna Langkawi where a really decent afternoon tea is served at its in-house café, Straits & Co. For RM128 (nett), you get a three-tier tray of goodies, comprising four types of sweets, three types of savouries, and, of course, a pair of scones (what afternoon tea would be complete without scones?!). You also get to choose either tea (Dilmah) or coffee (Lavazza). Of the sweets, my favourite was the Intensely Chocolate Biscuit, which was a thick chocolate pâté sandwiched between two chocolate biscuits. To die for! It was really rich though so pairing it with tea (without milk) would be perfect. The other sweets were Mango Cream Tart (very creamy, without pieces of fruit), Tiramisu (a somewhat light, liqueur-free version), and Hazelnut Caramel Finger (another rich pastry). The savoury pastries were Tandoori Prawn in Mini Pita Bread, Chicken Bolognese Tart Shell, and Beef Chorizo Quesadilla, which I loved, loved, loved. Give me a plate of that any time of day! Finally, the scones. They serve two types - raisin and blueberry - served with Sweet Cream and Strawberry-Kaffir Lime jam, and both were delicious. Just the right texture between cakey and biscuit-y, as proper scones should be. All in all, I really enjoyed the Signature Afternoon Tea. A minor quibble would be that there were too many sweets compared to savoury treats. But the food was all delicious and comparable to the best afternoon teas I've had. If you'd like a tipple, they also have an option that includes two glasses of sparkling wine, priced at RM160 (nett). The afternoon tea is available every day from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. So, what were they thinking, offering too scrumptious an afternoon tea at a dirt cheap price?! I am coming again. And again. And again.Dear TammyRahman, Thank you for dining with us at Straits & Co restaurant and for posting your review on Trip Advisor. The Danna Langkawi resort team truly appreciates it. Red Tomato is a European style restaurant that brings Mediterranean Cuisine in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Originally a small cafe in Langkawi, Red Tomato has grown and developed into the loved restaurant we know it as now. It doesnât stop there thoug
We came here based on a recommendation from a friend and it was an ok meal but nothing special. It is a nice setting and an ok menu in terms of choice - mainly pizza, pasta, salads and flambeâd tarts (which was really a pizza base with cream fraiche and a bit of cheese as the base instead of the pizza tomato base. It was ok but I canât write home about it. The food lacked seasoning and flavour

Great hostel, lovely staff and amazing food. Especially the smoothy bowl in the morning. The restaurant is a nice place to hang out. The building where the sleeping area is, is cool. Good facilities when it comes to showers and toilets. Would definitely recommend this place.

Not only is this a great place to eat, the toilets are beautiful. You will have to visit to see why. Really good Malaysian food. We had the curried prawns and chicken curry plus amazing marguitas. So relaxing and delicious. Canât wait to return.
