While staying in Langkawi ate in this restaurant twice. The waiter was polite, cheerful and efficient and his service was with excellent . Unfortunately the waitress who served us on the second occasion was surly and could not raise a smile. She was, though, happy to chat to her young male friends! The food on both occasions was very tasty and the portion size was large! This restaurant certainly makes a delicious pizza. The views across the harbour are great and it was enjoyable watching the boats while sipping a cool beer. Would certainly recommend
Tried the spaghetti and its amazing. Well seasoned, good hospitality from the barista. Good quality of coffee, i just pay RM 5 for a cup of cuppucinno and my wife spent RM5 for a pot of earl grey tea. It is really cheap and worth it.
Where to eat Korean food in Kuah: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This place was such a good find we actually went to the effort to list it on trip advisor. Short version: good menu selection, great tasting food with decent portion sizes and we considered the pricing to be below what it was actually worth (AU$3 - $4 for starters $5 - 7 for mains, $2 beer). Best non local food we've had in SE Asia.Longer version: we have been budget travelling around SE Asia for nearly 3 months. We generally eat at very local places however when we crave more western style food we try and look for a reasonable restaurant with decent pricing. Most of the time we are disappointed with the general quality and lack of flavour at these places and wish we had just stuck with the cheaper local food. We past by Bali Spice Cafe on our scooter and the next night felt like a break from stall food so decided to give it a go. The menu wasn't huge but offered a nice selection including pasta, chicken, fish etc. We opted to sit on the one outside table however they have tables in air conditioning inside with a bar, pool table and they play funky music. I ordered the chicken (think it was called Jamaican chicken) and water and my partner the pasta and a beer. The service was good and the waiter topped up my water every time the glass was getting low(water was free of charge - first time we've had this at any eating place). The food arrived and it felt like we had died and gone to heaven! Ok maybe a slight exaggeration but the flavours were delicious and the portion sizes generous. I had been craving a big chunk of chicken with veges, potatoes and gravy that most importantly had some flavour and was not disappointed. My partners pasta was equally delicious and was actually a really big portion size for pasta. The meal was so good that we told the waiter (normally we don't make a fuss like this) and asked why they were not listed on trip advisor (we had done a search for restaurants in Kuah and not many had come up). We returned a few days later and was worried we would be disappointed as sometimes the follow up meal is not as nice but luckily again the food was excellent. This isn't a fancy restaurant however of all the places we have eaten at excluding local food (local food is great but sometimes we need a break) this has by far been the tastiest best value for money place we have found.

The Fat Frog is situated on Jalan Padang Matsirat (the highway from Kuah to the Airport). With views out over the 99east golf course, the ocean and the cliffs beyond, enjoy a range of delicious hearty and healthy dishes or sit at the bar and savour a cold
This restaurant is in a fantastic setting, on a golf course, the views are beautiful. The food is really tasty, fresh, handmade and there are a selection of western style vegetarian and vegan options (so nice to have something different to the usual Malaysian noodles or curry) They have a huge selection of desserts which I wish they served in âcafé gourmandâ style so I could have tried more than one! There is a lovely friendly dog that greets you on your arrival! The staff are friendly and the service good. I canât fault this place and will definately be returning. Just wish I was here longer so I could try all the menu. Donât miss this place if you visit Langkawi.

Charlieâs Bar & Grill is the embodiment of island life. This restaurant and bar provides a casual , laid back and contemporary ambience for meeting friends and enjoying great meals. The cuisine is a mix of local Malaysian delights and popular internationa
Not too sure where to begin on this one as too much to be said! In a nutshell... very disappointing. Set withing the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club we visited Charlie's Grill, which left a bad taste in our mouths (literally) as the food was rather appauling. We kept it simple with Sea bass fish & chips 35 Ringgits. The fish was hardly edible due to toughness & being dry. We left a large chunk of our food on the plates. Most had expressed that this was the place to enjoy sundown but we would say the opposite. The environment is not comfortable nor are the cocktails any good (very watery) for 24 Ringgits each & the staff are rather unenthused by your visit. We could not wait to finish up & leave. This is not the kind of Yacht Club one would expect but if your after cheap, then perhaps go during the day for a beer or a coffee only to see the boats but apart from that you cannot stay long here as nothing else to it. Take moschito spray with you if adamant to visit in the evening. There is nothing 'Royal' about this Yacht Club!

We stayed in Langkawi for 5 nights and had our 3 dinners at Artisans Pizza. The place is slightly outdated as compared to other restaurants in the vicinity and can easily be missed out. The pizzas are absolutely wonderful, loaded with cheese, vegetables and full of flavors. we are vegetarians and they have quite a decent choice of Veg pizza and pasta.Owner and staffs are very friendly. Must visit when in Langkawi.
