Went for dinner at this restaurant but was disappointed. We ordered quite a few dishes , including stir fried vegetables, hot plate tofu, black peppered beef and more. However, most of the dishes tasted very much the same with almost the same salty and starchy base sauce which left us very uncomfortable. The only good dish we had is the scallops and they were very appetising and fresh - just lightly seasoned with soya sauce/shallots etc. You may want to give this a try when at May Hiang !

The boss and staff are very friendly! Good service and reasonable food pricing. Highly recommended !!

It's a no thrill venue, cheap interior with plastic chairs, typical here which we like if it means local tasty food... but the limited choice of fresh seafood (a lot is frozen) tastes just ok (we tried the live prawns and grouper) compared to a good and cheap seafood meal in Malaysia (and we tried many!)... so why does it come so expensive!?!?! Find another one...

International, asian, mlaysian, vegetarian friendly, vegan options, gluten free options. Cheap beer rm5. Cheap cocktails rm10. House wine and spiritd rm8
Hm!! What can I say? Extensive menu. Not always a good thing. Apparently offers vegetarian and vegan options however not entirely sure this is accurate.Service is not great. Staff are slow and inattentive forgetting orders. Food is average. We would not eat here again. Boasts "large portions at small prices" which is easy with cheap produce. You get what you pay for.

We visited a couple of times, once for dinner and another for lunch and the food was great tasting, very generous portions and good value for money. One advice from me is order a fresh fish and not frozen, for the extra money you might as well get a better tasting fish as I made the mistake of opting for a frozen and seems the fish wasnât 100% cooked through in a small part of the fish; maybe due to it being frozen before rather then live. By that point we had already eaten most of it before discovering, however no harm caused and everything else was great, especially the clams which i highly recommend you order.Theyâre also open at lunch and for anyone staying at the Meritus or Casa Del Mar, this is the closest restaurant to get some tasty and inexpensive food without walking too far! We stayed at the Meritus and took a quick walk there for food, best decision!

the staff took our order. some of us are vegetarian and ended up with fish on our plates even though we thought we made ourselves understood only vegetables. staff were not happy at all and the whole experience was a disaster. one of our group just gave up and didn't eat anything

Awful staff, awful atmosphere and awful food. This place wants your money and you out asap.Yes it's cheap and there is a good reason for that. The quality of the food served here matches the cost..... Cheap.I can honestly say I have had better frozen rice at home. The Thai style chicken was a cut up breaded chicken escalop smothered in sweet chilli dipping sauce... Foul. This is the worst meal we have had since arriving a week a go. Far better places to visit.

Situated in Pantai Cenang, the resort centre of Langkawi. We specialize in Asian Fusion and fine Chinese Seafood cuisine. Our menu is varied, you can enjoy live seafood dishes freshly made daily for lunch and dinner. From live lobster to fresh seafood cooked
Wonderful dining experience. You select the fish you want from the tank, itâs freshly prepared in Chinese steam style, juicy delicious fish in a spicy sauce. Fresh Mango salad and veggies as side. If you wish, they serve decent white wine here too (due to Langkawiâs tax-privileged status not as expensive as in Malaysia mainland).

Besides the reasonable food prices and cheap drinks the atmosphere and the friendly staff is why this restaurant is one of our favourites. They have a large selection of meals and everything we have ordered is always delicious. Local dishes ate very cheap and good size portions.Plenty of parking available and clean bathroom on site.

Drove here for lunch right after our arrival at Langkawi airport. Restaurant was recommended by a local friend. Found the place very clean and airy. Service was efficient and prompt. Ordering from the English menu was easy and prices are clearly stated. The food was freshly prepared to order and was delicious. We had stir fried kailan, tomyum soup, squid with dried chili and a few beers. Prices were very reasonable and we left very satisfied. Wish we could be back to try other items during our trip but unfortunately we could not spare the time. Highly recommended for anyone in the Cenang beach area.
