We visited for a drink. We had wine and cocktails which came from extensive choices on the drinks list. We stayed on for tapas which were great, in fact for two of us four was plenty. The menu was more extensive than just the tapas, with a range of western style dishes, with a few Thai ones too. We had the pleasure of being served by very attentive, but not intrusive, waiters. It is a restaurant with a lovely clean and well kept interior near Surin Beach. Most enjoyable. Many thanks for your kind review. I'm very happy that you enjoyed your visit the tapas, the wine and the service from our staff. We look forward tonwelconing you next time should you be in the area again.

This little gem of burger restaurant just opened in the center of Kamala. The whole experience feels like quality. From the custom made wooden furniture, to the overall atmosphere, to the smiling staff and obviously to the burgers. They use two patties of 100g each of dry-aged beef, which won't leave you hungry for sure.They even have one patty option for smaller appetites (or budgets), in addition to their chicken and Vegan (Beyond Meat) options. And beyond the traditional regional beers, they also have hard to find quality beers like Corona, Hoegaarden. They are open late (past midnight) for the party goers and even deliver around Kamala. We had two weeks at Kamala Beach in 2018 - we tried every restaurant on the beach and this one is by far the best. The owner is friendly; thereâs connect 4 and jenga for the kids, laid back tunes and the cuisine is incredible. Prices no more than anywhere else on the front.Highly recommended.

I went there twice. The first time was all ok but maybe cause it wasn't crowded Second time I sat near the pool and waited over 20 minutes then I got enough and went to find someone to order... Later I ordered some sushi and they kind of forget me again. And the food is not good also Sushi are just ok And I try the salmon croquette .. awful ! Definitely have better place in phuket Dear RodTriper,So sorry to hear this. Its actually the first complaint I have ever received in the 1 year the Salmon Croquette has been on the menu. I have tried the Salmon Croquettes myself, as soon as I read this, I found noting wrong with it. Perhaps you are not a fan of that particular flavor profile. As far as the sushi goes, Was it salmon? The food was ok, nothing amazing. It seems like there are quite a few regulars who definitely dominated the music and largest table. It seemed like the owner was also with them and didn't pay any attention to anyone else. I went for lunch and what I did not enjoy was the sudden arrival of the women who "work" there. I made it very obvious that I had zero interest and that I wouldn't be buying them a drink, they sat either side of me at an empty bar however and kept trying to talk with me. They would alternate between going into the kitchen and then coming back. I left after 3 beers, if they had left me alone I would have stayed and spent more money there.

I visited HQ with my boyfriend for a chilled afternoon, sundowners and to soak up the beach atmosphere. Iâd been to Catch bar, which is linked to HQ, a few times so was looking forward to it.The bar is right on the beach and offers a choice of sun loungers, mini cabanas or a sala nest (very comfy!) to rest in.The staff are great, very attentive and friendly.The food was also very good.However, HQ will not be at its best until the construction work to its right, building a new beachside resort, is complete. It is immediately next door and thereâs lots of noise from the power tools until late into the evening. On the other side of the bar, Cafe Del Mar is situated - there is a sound clash with their music and HQâs. This, coupled with the construction does not make it a very relaxing venue.I look forward to returning in a couple of years when itâs all completed to se the transformation.Dear Vikster76,Thank you so much for having visited HQ Beach Lounge.Indeed, the finishing development of Intercontinental Hotel next to us is creating some disturbances however it will be completed by April this year as the hotel will open.Regarding our neighbor beach club, we are continuously trying to minimize the disturbance for the benefit of both parties.See you again soon for more relaxed moments.Until thenOlivier

We went a few times over our holiday and had dinner there. Their menu is massive which in my experience is never a good sign of the quality of the food. On the opposite here!!! We had thai food, pizzas and pasta dishes, all were absolutely amazing and a real good size too. The owner and the staff were very friendly too. They look after you and pay attention to details. Great atmosphere too every night with different theme night (cocktails, pizza, pool comp...) I highly recommend this place!

We called in just for a lunch time drink, but ended up also having a sandwich & chips which cannot be faulted. The young lady server went out of her way to ensure that we were more than happy with our visit, and to ensure that the next time we visit Kamala next year that we shall visit again

My husband and I visited upon for my birthday. It was an absolutely fantastic experience from the moment of arriving, with cool face washes, delicious complimentary snacks and fantastic cocktails. The view was incredible and most importantly the staff were so welcoming and offered fantastic service. As we were about to leave a small birthday cake came out, which was very memorable. Thank-you to the Vanilla Sky staff for making this such a special night.
