Food served here is tasty but i felt there is less number of waiters than required because one or two people were really busy serving the guests and mixed up the orders. In the evening it is like bar restaurant. Overall good.

We checked into Savi Veg restaurant for dinner both days we stayed in Chikmagalur.Very calm and clean place in and around KM Rd.Staff are very courteous. We tried North Indian dishes and all of them were tasty.Cream of tomato soup is a must try.Ambience is good

We went to this restaurant twice. Both the times it was full and people were waiting. We checked with the staff but nobody was bothered to inform us where to register our name and how long it will take. We didn't see the restaurant staff keeping it very clean or maintaining hygiene factor. Probably, this is the reason it is cheap and always full. This has made the restaurant manager and staff complacent.

We went to have lunch at Odyssey during our stay in Chikmagalur. The place offers both a la carte and buffet. However, you need to have a minimum purchase of 800 per person in case you ordering buffet. For kids, the price is half for buffet and a la carte. We opted for buffet, the food was quite nice and i liked service.

Tried the restaurant as it was close to the hotel we were staying in...the food itself is pretty decent as compared to some of other restaurants which we ate at...the only challenge is that they were understaffed which resulted in large waiting time for everything we wanted

For travellers from Karnataka, this is the best place for Sagar style food i.e. vegetarian. For all others it is one of the only decent vegetarian restaurant in that stretch of Chikmagalur. Hence anytime in the evenings, it is always crowded.The south & north thali are also sumptuous if you are not going ala-carte.Service is quick and food is fresh. North India selection is very good and South Indian is no nonsense. Only aspect they can improve is other forms of payment (card, paytm, etc).

The restaurant serves vegetarian north Indian as well as south Indian food. South Indian meals are served on the first floor. North Indian dishes as well as south Indian tiffin items are available at the ground floor. The food is very tasty and service is quick. Ambience is not so great but it is a small town restaurant. Still highly recommended.
