It was hard to choose a meal with so many innovative dishes on offer, both local and international. The combination of ingredients was creative and the presentation was colourful and artistic. Amazingly delicious, too. The restaurant setting was classy and quirky, clean and friendly efficient staff. Next time I'd like to take in the jazz and work my way down the menu sampling the other dishes!

Nice decor, romantic seating around the swimming pool. Very friendly and helpfull service. I took a big chance and ordered a steak (Indonesian beef). Adequately tender and very tasty. My wife enjoyed her food too. The house red wine (two Islands) was better than expected. Reasonable prices.

One of the highlights of my trip so far. Delicious food, good prices and beautiful setting. The staff are very kind and help with anything you need - including transportation. The owner of the Warung also runs amazing cooking classes. I highly recommend this Warung. I ate there multiple times.

We stopped for lunch on our way to Ubud. The staff was very friendly and we could see some rice fields, but not an exceptional view. The menu is correct but rather limited, esp. for vegetarians. Free WiFi, nice fresh juices, and something music (Latino music a bit too loud at times).

The food was nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu has lots of options for westerners not wishing to venture too far from their comfort zones! They also have local options which were very tasty.Iâve seen some reviews complaining about unfriendly staff - they must have changed policy or people because everybody there was delightful!Dear 32nadiam,First of all, thank you so much for visiting The Colonial restaurant and also for taking the time to share your experience with other travelers. We're thrilled that it impressed you with the choice of our western and local meals and are glad to hear that you had really good experience with out friendly staff :)Best regards,OK Divers

The small restaurant (Warung) near the main road and the beach. We serve Western and Indonesian Cuisine.Open 11 am - 11 pm
Met a German lass in a salon who recommended this place (for our last night in Candidasa). Enjoyed entrees, mains and just had room to share a spicy chocolate samosa. All yummy! The juices were great and the arak is good (always have it neat, spoils the flavour otherwise). Would be back if we weren't leaving tomorrow.
