First, if you've never been to this location then you're missing out for three reasons: 1) This place was absolutely surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, and artisan entertainment. 2) This was a fantastic location to simply walk the area and see a ton of unique attractions.3) This particular Old Chicago location had the most polite and funniest employees when compared to the other locations we've been to.There are of course the normal unique benefits of going to Old Chicago. They have consistently fantastic pizza, they have the beer tour, and of course, they are one of the few chain restaurants that actually cater to the crowd that prefers to sit at the bar, rather than a table or booth. This location differs a bit as you are never fighting for the attention of your bartender. They were very attentive and on the proverbial ball. The bar here was huge and full of seats. My wife had the Whiskey Bleu Burger and I had the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger. Both were cooked medium well and both were tasty. The accompanying fries were crispy, hot, and filling. The waitstaff/bartender was on top of our every need, she was both polite and funny, the food was served within 15 minutes of ordering it, the food came out hot, and everything tasted excellent. The manager stopped by to thank us for visiting, was extremely polite, and was quite funny herself. In short, this was a rare perfect dining experience. They also have an outside seating area. I was told, on weekends, you can sit out here and enjoy your meal while watching street performers in the courtyard. Now, that sounded to be very interesting to us. We will be returning to try just that!

I'm use to the Salina BWW so this was a nice surprise. The bar has a more friendly feel and better TV's. Service at the bar was okay. The wings were good. Restaurant needs some maintenance but I will head back again when in Wichita.

Small brewpub in North West Wichita. Featuring high-quality hand crafted beers as well as artisan pizzas from a 700 degree wood-fired oven.
Everybody raved about how good the pizza is here, and yes itâs really good, itâs different, itâs not the best I had and is not the best pizza in Wichita, but is better than Pizza Hut.In this particular occasion, I order 3 pizzas, one of them pizza Margarita, when the food was brought to me, the pizza margarita was missing the fresh basil. I asked my server about it and her reply was: ...â I donât like basilâ... I didnât ask if she liked basil, I couldnât care less if she did or not, I asked her to find out why my pizza had no basil, I had to request to see a manager, who in turn found out they had run out of the ingredient, so he apologized and gave me a gift card for a free appetizer for next time.Kids donât belong in customer service jobs, they are immature and inexperienced. They need training, but I find hard to believe that training is going to make them care.

This place is awesome! STRONG burger game, but don't sleep on the fries! Had to try the truffle fries AND the fries tossed in duck-fat. Dipping sauces are in-house and super delicious. Our waitress, Lauren, was a darling. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Wichita!

This review is an update of my earlier one from March 12, 2017. At that time I raved about the chef, whom we had followed from his previous restaurant; but alas, he eventually moved to another establishment, and we started going somewhere else for our usual Saturday brunch. Recently, we learned that the Food Channelâs Chef Ramsey in his program âKitchen Nightmaresâ had decided to feature Fetch Bistro on his program; it should be aired sometimes this spring. If youâre not familiar with the show, the famous but bristly chef selects restaurants nationwide that have a unique concept but who are struggling for one reason or another and helps them (read that as ârips them apart from top to bottomâ) to help them succeed. Consider what an honor it is to be selected from among all the jillions of eating establishments across America! We always did love the concept of Fetch, so we wanted to return and discover what changes had been made. The atmosphere is fantastically improved with a chic and contemporary look with light oak tables and elegant wall and table décorâthink of the style youâd find from Pottery Barn. To be honest, I was frankly turned off by the original way the place looked, and the owner told me that Chef Ramsey had exactly the same reaction. Now the restaurant looks gorgeous. The food, even with our favorite chef no longer there, is still truly wonderful. We didnât find anything on the dinner menu that was specifically vegetarian, so my husband ordered his favorite usual breakfast for dinner while I was âforcedâ to indulge in something not plant-based. Well, okay, I love Reuben sandwiches and overcame my reluctance to chomp on a cow by ordering one. Never have I tasted a better Reuben, and Iâve been having them occasionally since the 60s all across America. Sometimes restaurants, thinking theyâre doing you a favor, put so much corned beef in them that the sandwich ends up being thick but bone dry. The Fetch offering, in contrast, had a perfect blending of all the ingredients so that they melded and got insanely gooey . . . incredible. The next day we returned for breakfast, and I continued my veggie omelet tour of Wichita. As you can see from the picture, it was big and impressive with flavorful chopped botanical items stuffed inside. Perfect. I need to say something about the dog situation, since Fetch Bistro is a place to dine with your doggie friends. During this most recent breakfast, we were surrounded (just in our corner of the room) by two gorgeous Great Pyrenees girls (huge fluffy white dogs), a nine-month old German shepherd, and a rough collie. If youâre not a dog person or have allergies, you will not feel comfortable at this place! They do have a fenced doggie play yard outside; but since itâs currently winter, all the fur is congregated inside. If you do love dogs, youâll âget it,â and this arrangement will suit you just fine. Picture the completely unique atmosphereâwhere else do you have spirited conversations with all the people sitting around you? The dogs are always ready to gather a hug from you and lavish you with kisses. If youâre a dog person, this is spectacular fun and highly entertaining. We invariably learn all the dogsâ names (sometimes we even learn the peopleâs names as well), and joyful conversations spring up as if youâre surrounded by family. The staff at Fetch brings out water for the dogs along with soft beds and food you can order for them. The ownersâ two big standard poodles hang out at the front as official, completely congenial greeters; really, it doesnât get any better than this.

Ran over to grab a local brew & lunch. Staff was engaging & attentive. Let me try two beer choices before deciding. Ordered the Mac & fried chicken but it was tasteless. Fish & chips not much better but we enjoyed the brews. Fun surprise...the bathroom sinks!

I stopped by here for lunch before continuing on to Oklahoma. I have not eaten here before, and they had three locations. I was at this location for lunch. The place is clean, modern looking and included outdoor patio. One orders the food up front and then given a number and sit where ever you want. I opted for the bar, since it was a high top seating. The drinks ordered (I had water) was poured at the bar area. I have to admit, it looks like a full bar, with fresh ingredients (rosemary, mint, basil, fresh fruit, even a place to add "smoke" to a cocktail. If I was staying in Wichita over night, I might have tried their cocktail menu. I order the falafel bowl, under $10. Bowl is a misnomer, it came on a platter and it was huge. I could have split this with another person. The dish came with my choice of salad, I went with Tabbouleh, hot side of eggplant, hummus and both traditional pita and crunchy pita. Interesting that the dish came with fork and spoon but not a knife. I mention this because the eggplant pieces were large and could have used to one to cut it. It was soft enough to use the fork to cut it, but a knife would have been appreciated. Otherwise, all the flavors were there and it was a good stop. Thanks for visiting us while traveling through, Carol! We enjoy providing our guests with delicious food and a wide variety of menu items to please everyone's taste buds. We're glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you next time you're in Wichita!

Called them for take out service. Very helpful person explained the order for two and itâs options. We were told when it would be ready. Person bringing out food to car was friendly; service was quick. Would definitely do this again.
