Only viable choice of dine in restaurants in Independence by default. Wide variety menu with most things good in quality. Service is only fair. My only complaint is the limited steak choices for a "Steak House" in its name. Steaks are only fair in quality and very over priced for what you get. Recommend other things on the menu instead.

We were in town for Thanksgiving, and over the holiday weekend, not much was open. When we saw that Eggbertâs was open, we were grateful and optimistic since there werenât many choices. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was very courteous and friendly and the food was pretty good. It was decent diner fare. It was freshly prepared and exactly as ordered and the dining room was clean. Weâll definitely return. To the owners/staff: thanks for making our Thanksgiving a little nicer since many of our âmealsâ that week were from gas stations!!! Yâall did a great job. Thanks.

Happened to go in Jack's last Saturday night. Happened to be St Patrick's day, so the place was crazzzy busy. Mostly with young drinkers on some sore of pub crawl, green beer, costumes and all. We still got a table rather quickly, and the food was just super good this night. As was the service. Fried Shrimp dish was chosen by my friend, and mine was chicken fried chicken. Both very reasonably priced for such large portions. Drinks were good, too. Great server, she was friendly and efficient. Additionally helped me obtain two gift certificates for gifts. Great evening, but noisy due to St Pats day.

Arby's is a place we can always go to and know we'll get good food. I especially enjoy their Marketplace sandwiches. Very good.
