Family-friendly sports bar with fairly decent food. Steak night on Thursday, and Ribeye night on Friday are my favorites. Tons of beers on tap, and a huge bar. There's not a bad seat anywhere in the restaurant for watching sports - there are literally TV's on about every square inch of the walls.Small game room in back that the kids enjoy.Service is usually pretty good, but it seems like they must have a high turn-over rate because you rarely have the same waitress 2 visits in a row.

Live music Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights!
The food and service was really good. The only problem I have with the place is that the music was WAY too loud. I would suggest that the musician turn his/her speakers down at least a notch or two at least until after 9 P.M. During meal times I like to be able to converse with my table mates. Leave the bar atmosphere for later and THEN "Let the good times roll"!!!

We went to Nick and Jakeâs for Fatherâs Day brunch and it was extremely busy. Despite that, the staff did a good job of keeping the buffet filled, refilling drinks, etc. The food selection was great and everything was delicious. My only complaint (and itâs a minor one) is that the buffet setup is a little awkward, but Iâm sure it flows better on less busy days.

My wife and I had a Sunday lunch at Kelley's. She ordered a grilled lemon pepper chicken while I ordered a chicken fried chicken. Both were very good quality, done the way we like, Just downright good Basic food. Jody, our server, did an excellent job.

Granite City is a microbrewery/ restaurant with awesome craft brews and a large menu! We have a breakfast buffet on Saturdays from 9am-12pm and Sunday Brunch from 9am - 2pm. We take reservations!
We had ice cold beer and a few small plates. The meatballs were hot and very filling. Lots of takeout activity which is a good sign. Thanks for the feedback!

We went to the Yard House at the outlet mall while shopping in KC. I had dined at a Yardhouse in NC before, my family had never dined there. We ordered spicy edamame, burgers, jambalaya and chicken fried rice. Everything was very good and my guests really enjoyed their lunch.Yardhouse has a lot of dining options if you are looking for a little break from Kansas City bbq! We really enjoyed it.

This is not your typical biker bar. Great food, wonderful service. If the place is pack with bikes go on in anyways because it is for a charity event.

This is a fun, casual pub in Western Shawnee that's becoming one of our go-to places for dinner. We've been here several times over the past few weeks and we've experienced good service with servers who seem to care, good food, a large beer selection and specials every day of the week. Thursday night is ladies night with $5 martinis and wing night. The wings were very good and come with your choice of different flavors, combine that with an interesting beer and what's not to love. There's a tv at every table, which isn't important to me, but may be entertaining to the younger ones in your family. If pinball is your thing, they have a tournament one night a week.

I have never been to a more racist place than this. We came in and immediately were given stares and dirty looks. We waited 25 min for a table. Party of 5. There were several parties of 5 already seated that were given 2 tables. There were 2 tables available when they tried to seat all of us at ONE small table that clearly seats 4.... and gave us an extra chair. They were saving the other 2 available tables for the WHITE family of 5 that came in after us. When we expressed that the one small table was not enough room for us we were told that it was the only table available. Clearly it wasnât. What happened to first come first serve?? Then they offered to set us at 2 different tables splitting us up, stating that it was a fire hazard to pull the tables together. The whole restaurant was full of tables that were rearranged to accommodate. Why were we being treated different? Once we said that we no longer felt comfortable and weâre going to leave they started yelling at us while we were walking out telling us to never come back. We never raised our voices nor were we disrespectful. They might as well put a sign on the door saying BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT WELCOME..... because sadly itâs very true. We have video of the incident that has been and will continue to be shared.
