Overall, typical food. The sandwiches have always been hot but sometimes, they have messed up the order. When we return, they are apologetic and fix it quickly. However, for the trouble they should offer an incentive like a free drink or dessert or the trouble.

I typically donât like to put negative stuff down and granted we came in with about 20 from our ball team but our waitress seemed annoyed by our big group and didnât seem to have patience. We were even charged for a couple things that werenât ours. We had a few wrong orders and some of the food cold. Would try many other restaurants before we would try here again. It didnât seem like they can handle big groups.

I was in town on business and since the Jayhawks were playing, I figured I'd leave the hotel and catch a game with the local crowd. Initially I went to Buffalo Wild Wings but the wait to get in was insane so I went with option B. I'm very happy that I did. There was a good crowd but nothing close to BWW. Sat down immediately and a couple of locals saw that I was there alone and immediately sparked up friendly conversation. I ended up watching the KU game and enjoying a couple of beers and an amazing burger with a local family. Waitress was great, food was great, prices were very reasonable and it was a great environment. I would definitely come back.

This was a our first visit to this location in Derby. We were promptly seated and brought our drinks. My cup of coffee came with a small carafe so refills were always right at hand. The menu was extensive, and my wife decided to order from their pick 3/4/5 menu. She chose 4 items (choc chip pancakes, 2 fried eggs, hamburger patty and cottage cheese) which she really enjoyed and had leftovers to take with us. I got one of their skillet breakfasts which was very good and also came with 3 pancakes. Lots of food!!

My wife and I both had the half sandwich special. She had the Brooklyn Reuben and I had the Turkey Avocado. They were great. The chocolate shake was made with chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk. Fabulous!!!The sell ice cream from chocolateshoppeicecream.com. It is really good ice cream in about 20 flavors. Some are non-dairy soy ice cream and they also have sugar free ice cream. They make their own waffle cones. Some are dipped in chocolate and sprinkles.The staff is happy to serve you and very friendly.We will be going back

Great selections and varieties. Salad, Italian, Down home American, BBQ, and Asian. I really liked the BBQ ribs and brisket. The Asian area has great soups, pot stickers and pork loin. Deserts include sugar free items. Or indulge in the bread pudding, topped off with some soft serve frozen yogurt. Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear you enjoyed the selection that The Kitchen Buffet had to offer. Please let us know what we can do to earn that last star!

We had a great time here but would have to agree with a previous poster about the drinks being watered down. The live band OMG was fantastic! One of the best local bands I have heard. Did not eat but the menu had a great variety.Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it! Come back and see us again!

We had a group of 6 dining on a Saturday evening. The service was absolutely terrible. We ordered cocktails shortly after we were seated & did not receive them until our meals were finished. Side dishes for our entrees were served after we finished our steaks. Water glasses were not refilled. The food was good but the terrible service ruined the evening. I have never experienced such bad service at an upscale restaurant. I am only giving this a 2 star rating because the food was good. Management needs to staff the restaurant appropriately on a busy Sat evening. We take every review very seriously as we strive to improve the guest experience and our operations.
