Just returned from Pegah's after having a wonderful lunch after church with friends. I enjoyed Coffee and Super delicious Pancakes and sides. The atmosphere is nice so you can carry on a conversation with others. Our waiter was VERY responsive to our needs. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED.

Great verity makes it hard to order even the staff recommendations were all over the menu from BBQ, Steaks, and Seafood. We went with the following. The prime rib was tough to cut with a knife but the au jus saved the plate. The burnt ends were good the meat lacked a unique Smokey flavor that I like. The sliced turkey had me seeing lunchables. The creamy cheese corn was a let down. Slaw was average and the beans saved the sides. Overall mediocre at best. Hi ChaseCarver! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. First Watch specializes in delicious creations freshly-prepared to order. Their fresh, award-winning Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch dishes are made using only the best ingredients without the use of heat lamps or deep fryers. The best part is their creative
If you are familiar with the First Watch chain, then you already know that they believe in avocados, ancient grains and cage free chickens. So, you also should expect to pay more than the breakfast place down the street. But, if you're unfamiliar, read on.. First watch has light background music playing and on quieter (weekday) mornings, a peaceful atmosphere. Something to try at least once is their "million dollar bacon". When I was about eight years old I would occasionally dip my bacon or link sausage into maple syrup. I was sure I had invented a true delight for mankind. Well, First Watch has made maple syrup cooked bacon a speciality. And it's great.

We stopped by here for lunch after flying into KC and were pleasantly surprised. My wife had a salad and I had a burger. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. The service was great as well.

J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Bleu potato
Had a horrible experience at the new Plaza III the day before, so we tried this restaurant. It was FANTASTIC! Expensive, like Plaza III, but service was phenomenal and the food, absolutely delicious!! I really mean everything, every detail of the presentation and taste of the food was awesome. First class all the way!! Plaza III needs to take serious notes from J Gilbert's!

Welcome to the Burg & Barrel Welcome to the Burg & Barrel in historic downtown Overland Park! Whether you're having lunch with a coworker, dining with family for dinner, or just catching up over cocktails during our "Hoppy Hour", this is the perfect spot.
We popped in for a quick lunch and both had burgers. Blue burger add avocado...ahhh soo good! Sweet potato fries. Hubby had Classique with regular fries. Both burgers were gone!!! Regular fries were even better than sweet potato ones! We will be back!!

Stopped by on our way around town after running around town all day. I went in without having ordered ahead and expected to wait for 15-20 minutes to get my order. I was promptly helped at the bar and ordered my food. The waitress was very helpful and got my order in and I had my food in approximately 7 minutes. The food itself was excellent. Burnt ends were the bomb! Had Mac and Cheese and Baked Beans for the sides and they were excellent as well. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants some good local BBQ without the big chain feel.

I've been to the Olathe location several times, but ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Generally, I think all their food is very good. But this time, I got fries with my sandwich and was dipping them in the hot BBQ sauce and was disappointed with the sweet potato taste. Why would they cook the regular fries in the same vat as the sweet potato fries???? Well, here's the thing - they don't have sweet potato fries. It was the hot BBQ sauce giving them that flavor. It was the weirdest thing! The regular BBQ sauce was good and the fries by themselves were also good, so it was definitely the hot BBQ sauce giving it that flavor. Wonder if they mixed up the recipe or something... anyway I did not care for that sauce. The rest of it was good.
