I went here with some friends for lunch and upon entering was blasted with the great aroma of BBQ.After browsing the menu for a while, I settled on the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of the Sweet & Smoky Beans. Both were very good and the beans had just the right amount of smoky flavor. We were greeted by the GM as she made her way around the restaurant engaging with the customers so that was a nice touch.Overall, I would come back again if I am in the area and it is definitely worth a try.

Stopped there for lunch with my mom on the way to Oklahoma. The food was excellent for a small place. THE PIES are to die for. My mom almost did die...she ate way to many carbs and her blood sugar dropped, but she didn't care. She would do it again. I would make sure she ate more protein. I recommend anything on menu. Hot Beef sand are huge share with some one.

Stopped in for breakfast and was awed by the decor. This used to be a firehouse and was repurposed to a restaurant around 2009. Owner has many of the original firehouse apparatus throughout the building, including the fire pole, fire hats, hydrants and pictures. All the wait staff were friendly and talkative explaining the building. We ordered omelettes; polish sausage and veggie. Delicious with lots of cheese. We opted for a cup of fresh fruit (strawberries, watermelon and blueberries) in lieu of hash browns. Served with your choice of toast; we chose rye. Coffee was good and we were offered refills many times. A unique experience and weâd return if we lived in the area.

Whenever I go back to Hutch Carlâs is on my must-visit list. Iâve never had a bad meal or experience there, and the Reuben, burgers, and chicken fried steak sandwich are delicious. Plus, if sheâs working you get to watch the best butt in Hutch!

Airport Steakhouse is your best bet for a great charcoal-grilled steak or seafood, chicken, pork, salads and other favorites. Full bar service is available. Our all-you-can-eat lunch buffet is a satisfying crowd-pleaser and it's fast, too; you can be back
We went there Saturday night for a birthday steak dinner. We ordered steaks with baked potatoes. She also ordered sauteed mushrooms and french onion soup. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer. We had to wait a lot longer than we should have. When the onion rings arrived, they were cold. We had to have the server bring new rings. The steaks were brought out and they had set for too long before being brought to the table. They forgot the soup and had to be reminded of the mushrooms. The bar area is open to the dining area. There were several people in the bar area and they were very loud which made the experience even less enjoyable. They at least did not charge for the soup and took off the drinks.

We went to Polo based on the TA reviews, so I feel obliged to share that we had a very different experience from what other reviewers described. On the positive side, the waitress was excellent, very efficient and friendly. But really, the steaks were 25-30% inedible fat. We had one KC Strip and one seriously undercooked ribeye. The waitress took it back, very apologetic. It came back cooked a bit more so that it was warm through but still underdone. The KC Strip was properly medium rare, but there was just so much fat to cut away. The meat itself on both steaks was deliciously flavorful, tender and perfectly seasoned, but the excess fat on both of them suggested poor butchering to me. Maybe the filet mignon would be a better choice. The wine was undrinkable. The beer was fine. The water was also undrinkable tap water, a problem everywhere here in Hutchinson. The salads were included in the entree price, but I would have paid extra to have gotten better greens and dressing. I just can't recommend this place despite its local color and obviously satisfied customers. Our bill was $78 before tip. Not a good value.

Good BBQ and good sides for a very fair price. Dining room is small and nothing fancy. Counter service. Pickles, onions, peppers available as you like. We liked the ribs a lot. Potato salad is very good and tastes homemade.

I passed by this restaurant on my way to my business meeting so I thought I would give it a try for lunch. This restaurant is a pizza buffet. They have lots of different pizzas to choose from and you can request your favorite. There was also a salad bar. They did have another bar with chicken and comfort foods. The final touch was dessert pizza and soft-served ice cream.

We went before we headed to the Cosmosphere. We walked right in and got a table around 12:30. Wait staff was friendly and quick with drinks...and they have the pebble ice, lol. Our order was ready pretty quickly. We all had burgers and fries and enjoyed them. I love how you can see the cooks cooking on the flat top in the back of the restaurant. Nice little place to grab a bite.

Stopped by Royâs before heading out to the Salt Mine during a trip to Hutchison. From the moment we got out of the car,we could smell the smoked goodness. The restaurant isnât anything fancy and itâs limited in space but the food is delicious. I had the smoked turkey and my husband had the brisket, they were served with Texas toast. They also had a salad bar you could add onto your meal, which consisted of two types of coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad and a few others. Highly recommend if youâre in the area. Oh and owners are welcoming, just a great place to eat.
