Dodge City's newest restaurant and puts a modern twist on one of Dodge City's historic treasures. Featuring a menu with eclectic choices such as fried pickles, burgers, quail, steaks, seafood, and pasta, the Guymon Petro Bar & Grill will be open for lunch
we figured in Kansas we should get some pretty good steaks....Wrong! I ordered a $25 tenderloin filet . The âfiletâ was about a half inch thick and cooked to death ( I had asked for medium doneness). My husbandâs Hanger steak was chunks of meat very unevenly done, half medium rare as requested but half well done and over salted. Baked potatoes were good. Veggies were crunchy. Overpriced. Understaffed.

We stopped at Applebee's after spending about 45 minutes trying to find a place to eat, where we could park a moving truck. We ended up here. The food was very good, we all at off the 20 for 2 menu. All the food was great.

The bbq pulled pork was actually very good. So there were 2 teen boys working the counter. When we were paying, one brought out this 5" diameter gourd or some type of veg. He asked me if I knew what it was. I said no. He says he just found it in the back of the restaurant and asked if I wanted it and I said no. The other teen says, "We thought you were into this." I think I caught the inference, but this is what happens in small towns when juveniles are given the keys.

I like IHOP, always have... But this one... To begin with they should hire people who also speak English. They shouldn't assume every tanned person is Mexican, cause even as nice as Mexicans are It's kinda confusing for other Spanish speakers, but that's a minor issue... They took so long to bring me my order and then it wasn't as I'm used to, not to mention that the flavor was so different. The standard here is just different. I've been all over the nation to many IHOPS from Miami to Los Angeles to New York and Puerto Rico and I've never seen such disregard, in fact most places the workers at IHOP do real good. At one point the waitress dropped some sugar packs and instead of tossing them in the trash and serving new ones, she PUT THEM BACK FOR PEOPLE TO USE!!! That's when I decided not to go back and I do miss IHOP considering that I'll be in this town for a few months but I just can't imagine what they'd do in the kitchen, so yeah. All in all is not all bad, the breakfast menu is still acceptable and better then most places in town, but I'm very concerned with cleanliness in this one. IHOP is still no. 1 in my list of fast food joints for breakfast, just that in Dodge City... Well...

Wonderful food and ambiance. Reasonably priced for a nice sit-down restaurant. Since this place is in the casino nobody under 21 can enter. Daily meal specials. I was there on Tuesday for the Italian Night Special. Salad, all you can eat pasta, and dessert was $18. If you get a casino players card you get $10 credit for food and $10 credit for gambling for up to 5 consecutive days. That puts the meal down to $8 which is quite a value. Food was great and cooked to order from dozens of ingredients and pasta choices. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a food allergy and the chef made sure that I got a great meal with no problems. Loved the meal and the place.

Put this in your navigator and do not get outta Dodge until you have tried their coffee. Charming, friendly, efficient spot, formerly a gas station site and then music store, it has been tastefully refurbished. Great pastries too. Just wish I had not dropped part of that luscious chocolate muffins on my white pants.

So glad to return to Dodge and see that Kate's is still around. I started visiting this place almost 40 years ago as a broke college student. The tacos were amazing and the schooners of beer were ginormous. After all these years, I can still say Kate's tacos are among the best, crispy, well stuffed, big enough for a meal (or two!). I hope this homey little joint lasts another 40 years!

Arrived 45 minutes before closing but we were treated like royalty. We knew we couldn't eat two full dinners so we ordered the Dodge City strip. The appetizers of fried mushrooms were there in a flash along with the best margaritas we've had in years. Usually when you split a plate you expect one full and an empty but when they served us there were 2 perfectly portioned plates. Wow the steaks were cooked so perfectly and so delicious I had to ask the waitress if they had been frozen and she told us they were cut fresh. Twice baked potato was out of this world. Can't recommend this place high enough....Great

I keep going back because the food is consistently above par and the service is too! I love their steaks, but they serve many other dishes worth exploring. For an intimate dinner, or family party. They can and will make it an enjoyabl experience!

Casual dining with three separate venues. One area has a classic casual dining area, another section offers an open concept sports bar feel with a thirty foot full service bar and TV's. The third area offers a unique dining car that you can sit and enjoy
Wonderful atmosphere with opportunity to eat in the saloon area or even a railroad dining car. Ask the owner for a tour and see the old safe and learn the history of the building. If you love trains, thereâs a lot to see here in the decor. Best brisket ever and Iâve spent a lot of time in Texas! Prices extremely fair too.
