The place looks a little worn down but offers most of what you would need for a beach-house stay. Great view of the beach, sands mere 20 steps away from the property, and a nice, quite, and calm beach for your pleasure. During my stay, there were hardly any people or crowd to worry about at the beach. Wake up, step into the beach, return to have a homemade breakfast. All works out great. Chandan, the caretaker, is great and super helpful.

Located in Kannur, our homestay is a perfect combination of comfort and homely experience. It is located at a walkable distance from Payyambalam beach. Railway station is located 1.5km away from our property. The bedroom is fully air conditioned. LED/LCD TV is fitted for entertainment. Our guest can cook their meals in kitchen in our homestay. Free parking is also available. Other facilities incl
The guest house is located exactly 2 minutes walking distance away from the sea. We booked 2 ac rooms so got entire 2nd floor and a big terrace. this house is not sea facing but from terrace you can get a partial view of the sea. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the AC worked nicely. 24 hour hot water supply is available. They never promised to provide tea coffee or room service in their ad so if you are expecting it, its your fault. Please remember this is not a hotel but a home stay. Communication with the owner is a little problem as he does not understand anything other than Malayalam. But he gave us his daughter's phn no and she is fluent in English and she sorted out everything for us. The house has an adjacent restaurant that opens at 6.30 in the morning and closes at 4pm. It serves you Typical Malayali breakfast and lunch (basic and home style) but at an unimaginable cheap rate (nonveg lunch for 3 costed me Rs 150). their coffee is a must try. For dinner we had to go approx 700-800 mtr (easy walkable distance) away along the sea side which had some nice hotels and restaurants. The house owner provided boiled drinking water/ Milk for my 3 year old. The next day I didnot want oily and spicy food from out side for my child. We requested the house owner if we can make rice in his kitchen, In response he arranged home cooked dinner for our entire family. He never charged any money for all these food and milk. We had our train from kannur at odd hour and they helped us with the auto booking and luggage. More than the place it was the people I liked there. Such nice and helpful host.

Very good homestay with all facility and hospitality. U can get the authentic food of Kerala with excellent taste. Mr Santosh is a very good and knowledgeable person. He guides us throughout the Theyyam, kalatipattu and kathakali. He will try his best and goes beyond limits to help the photogrsphers during workshop. I would suggest this place for photogrsphers and family to explore kannur. His resort is also very comfortable and good.

Stunning rooms beautifully designed with vintage wooden decor and artistic finishing at the Hotel Sky Palace promise you a pleasant stay in the city of Kannur. The room comes with a simple well-lit ceiling and age-old finishing makes the place cozy and comfortable. Various facilities include free wifi and kitchen is available for the convenience of the guests. There is a dining area along with an in-house restaurant for the guests to enjoy the local cuisines. The hotel also offers spa services to the residents ensuring a very comfortable stay. Other services offered at the hotel are CCTV cameras, parking space, seating area and card payment options.
we went for a lunch at their restaurant and we ordered for sadhya (veg and non veg), it was good, but then the mess up happened. Even though, the non vegetarians sat separately, waiter who came to serve the sambar and fish curry ended up pouring it on all the plates (including vegetarians) without asking and since this was plain curry overpowered by cocnut, no one could make out and started eating. When one of my friend out of curioisity asked what curry was other than sambar, and then he responds that it was fish curry. By then the damage was done as some of them had eaten as well. Then we informed the person who took the order about it and then the veg plates got replaced, but even then no one even apologized. Even though my friends didn't make a scene, I know there are vegetarians who are very sensitive, lets ensure this doesn't happen. We need to respect each one's choice and even though I am not a vegetarian, we need to respect others who are sensitive to that due to their faith. That's why after this we didn't continue even though we wanted a dessert and had to go to another place for the same

Located in the midst of a traditional fishing village of Kerala's northern region, this beach house is only about 5 minutes walk to the famous tourist location, Payyambalam beach. It is equal distance to the Meenkunnu beach in the northern side and Payyambalam beach in the south. When the Land of Looms and Lore beckons you, we are there to host you with the famous Kerala comforts. Live in the midst of a serene, traditional fishing village, with contemporary comforts of a modern home. Watch and interact with the local people, engaged in their daily chores as fishermen or weavers, mending their nets or working on their looms. Get mesmerized with Theyyam, the very famous and attractive folklore art which happens in the region all through the months of October to April every year.
It's a homely feel here. Very fantastic location. The front office staff are very co-operative and friendly. Very good felicity in Rooms. very hygienic too. They served very delicious food. WiFi facility also available.

It is my second experience in Ushas Homestay. I was there first time last year, and then i kept on dreaming the time to go back. Imagine a beautiful, confortable, genuine beach house in a field of palms only a few meters from a pristine tropical beach were you will be in total peace. Sleeping with the breeze coming from the windows, and a balcony where you can eat incredible homy tasty food made by the family, while gazing the waves of the sea. Imagine also being in your own space, but having downstairs a sweet Indian family, ready to manage any your request (a scooter that is very useful there, a tuk tuk, advices on things to see and do), only 15 minutes by bike from the center of Kannur, now equipped with a new modern airport. Living a still genuine corner of India, but with all the facilities of a modern growing corner of this big Country: this is the situation where you will be living! A romantic, still, healing (and very near to many ayurvedic places) holiday is waiting for you here. As for me, I will now count the days to go back!

The dont have proper room service , they have a mentally retarted Security who does all the role possible in the hotel but of no use . Bedsheet full of stain , torn towels , in clean toilet , garbage balcony , flattened pillow , cigarette buds n hairs all around , no blanket in AC room . When asked for bed sheet they provided some table cloth as show in the pic . overall it was a wonderful hopeless , nasty hotel ever. Thank you

Shree vichithra Lodge like the name its basically a lodge. Please don't hope for any kind of service or something. Only consider if you want to sleep overnight and has ran out of options or very tight budget.
