A Chef Jitendra has taken care of each and every aspect during our stay, just like any GM would do. even chef pradeep and chef sourav really helped us enjoy our food and fullfilled our immediate demands for customised food. mr amit was very quick in his service too. overall we had a pleasant stay and we would really recommend this luxury property .

The reception staff went out of their way to help me, even when their shift was finished & Sanjay could not have done more to make sure I was supported. They even ensured I was escorted all the way on to my sleeper bus so I was not left alone. SUPER grateful for my time here & can't wait to come back. THANK YOU so much to everyone at Divine Hima (including the wonderful kitchen staff who I have yet to mention) you all looked after me so well

Very bad experience at The Posh Hotel in Mcleod Ganj
Reviewed By Sivashankar GWe stayed here for a night and right from the beginning the experience was bad. The room provided was very bad and hence requested for a room change and there was a lot of argument by the staff and finally they decided to give when we were super frustrated. Once we moved to different room, following issues were noticed: 1. Room was not clean - bathroom has soap spilt all over the place 2. Water stagnates in the bathroom 3. None of the doors including bathroom door closes properly 4. You can touch the chairs and feel the heavy dust settled on them 5. Shower knob just comes off in the bathroom 6. Towels kept were dirty 7. Power boards just comes away when trying to connect 8. Front office staff were very rude Overall for the kind of exorbitant rates that this hotel charges, this hotel is terrible and we had a very bad experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone definitely.

Reviewed By swati20180506My husband and I visited Prakrit Alaya recently and it became a “one of a kind” stay for us. A stay which we will cherish forever. Prakrit Alaya in Dharmsala is tucked in the valley right near a river stream which is the USP of this property. The sound of river flowing throughout the night ensures a sound sleep and a couple of singing birds will leave you amused as you wake up. While it’s pretty close to the main road, this property promises quietness. Such quietness can be only experienced and not expressed. Everything about this place is positive - the ambience, the location, the quietness, the forest behind the property, the river flowing, birds chirping and not to forget, the STAFF who offer genuine service. You will be greeted by the ever smiling staff at all times. The rooms are spacious and we fell in love with the choice of furniture. Right from the booking process till the end of the stay everything was smooth. We met the owner of the property, Mr. Kishore Thakur, who was welcoming and made it a point to interact with all the guests to make them comfortable. We couldn’t stop ourselves from booking one more night on our way out of Dharmsala. “Not to miss property”.

Reviewed By 2shikhagNot worth the 8000 per night paid for their best room. Room is spacious. Views are ok. We were given lower floor room and hence the view was partially blocked by trees. Views are better from higher floor, as can be seen from dining area - but still not so great. I found the views to be better from Naddi area. Staff in general was polite and helpful. Service was prompt. Feedback was taken in and actioned - on things in their immediate control, e.g. cleaning washroom, breakfast options. Location is good - close to the market, but there are other hotels also available closer to the market. This one has very steep path for part of the way - possible but difficult to walk. Furniture is old and damaged. Towels are old and stained. Mats and dustbins are dirty. No face/hand towels provided. MakeMyTrip lists shower cap, slippers, and mini fridge under room amenities - but none of them were provided. Postion of the hangers in bathroom is totally misplaced - just above the hair dryer. Toilet paper was almost over when we reached and we had to call to get a new one. Toilet was dirty. Next day, when complained about the toilet, it was cleaned. For breakfast, there is no buffet. You have to order, then they prepare. Spent one hour (8-9 AM for breakfast). First day, we were told to choose one item between paratha-dahi and poori-sabji, along with tea/coffee. Second day, we talked to the reception the previous night and asked them to arrange for bread-omelette and fruits which they did - sliced apples. Apples didn't taste well and had some brown parts. Break-omelette was fine. Dining area sofas are quite dirty. Tables are not cleaned regularly. No staff was seen around for cleaning. No water on the table. When we asked for water, it was given in dirty glasses. We were excited for Mcleodganj trip and booked the best and expensive room. Now, I feel highly disappointed and sad. This hotel is not recommended, unless you are ok with the above shortfalls and get the booking in ~1500-2000.
