hotel, bar, restaurant and swimming pool built inside the walls of an old cinema in the heart of Kampot.
From the greeting by owner Pauline on arrival, I knew this would be an excellent stay. The facility is immaculately maintained, the food is great, and the owner and staff are committed to ensuring the maximum comfort of guests. The atmosphere of the public areas -- pool, bar, lobby -- is groovy and terrific. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a bungalow which was actually a wooden hut on stilts! The stairs up were a bit precarious but the room itself was exceptional. Lots of space inside and on the balcony, large mosquito net for the bed which was comfortable! No air con but we found we didn’t even need the fan overnight as it gets quite cool. Nice touches were the mosquito repellent coils for the room and the torch! (The bathroom is below the room and quite a trek on those stairs in the dark.) I was impressed by the cleanliness and modernity of the bathroom, great water pressure and plenty of hot water! The owner was also very friendly, offering us many suggestions of things to do and kindly letting us shower after checking out after a quick swim in the river. Docking a point only because the first night there was a nearby celebration which was so noisy! The huts didn’t protect us from the sound unfortunately.

Green mango Bungalows is a family run business listing situated right on the Tuek Chuu river facing west overlooking to Bokor mountain range. Our Bungalows are nestled amongst a garden setting, and over the river, with balconies on every room. The large river deck is equipped with a restaurant and comfortable bar serving local beer, spirits, and cocktails till late. All staff speak English, and Khmer language.
Food at Green mango is exceptional and made by owner Kevin's wife. Kevin add value to the conversation and his wife do the best with the food. We enjoyed our breakfast and lunch at Green mango. A must try if you are in Kampot with the excellent view of Bokor mountain range and beautiful sunset.

OK, I don't get why no one has mentioned this but the walls between apartments are literally made out of paper. I've never been in a place with such bad sound isolation. I heard neighbors clearly when they just talked quietly. Had to cancel my stay, that's how bad it was and I didn't even have noisy neighbors. If people think it was quiet they must have been lucky without neighbors, also its a lot of Asians staying here and I don't think they care. However - if u don't mind this, it's a good place to stay. It's new and fresh/cool and the staff is really helpful and friendly. The WiFi is also good enough for streaming.

Stayed for 2 nights at this lovely hotel. My room was large and had a balcony. Kind of disappointing though that my view were roofs lol. But since I was outside most of the day it didn't bother me. Wish the photos for each room when booking were accurate as I was expecting a good view. Average breakfast. Classic chic interiors, large bathroom and toilet. The skybar is closed due to covid but worry not as the riverside is just 6min walk away. Everything was just a few min walk away. Weather is cool this time of year so walking around was pleasant.

Moved to this accommodation last minute, as we had been disappointed with our previous choice and managed to get the last available room. Very good location, couple of blocks back from the river and walking distance from everywhere in town. The rooms are fairly basic, but very large, clean and with very comfortable beds. The have a TV with English language films and will provide a kettle and cups if you ask. There is also a fridge in the room and they provide free water each day. The guy on reception is very friendly and helpful and they provide a laundry service. Negatives They only accept cash payments, no cards. If you get a room ending in 01 or 06, facing the back, you will get woken up by the 4 cockerels ? below at around 5am!

Welcome to The Playgound! We are a boutique hotel, with four specialty rooms each designed after our favorite gem stones. We have a garden cafe with a Jungle Gym built to premium standards and a rooftop bar serving brekky and dinner, cold beer and cocktails too. Drop by to see the art that covers the walls of The Playground. Each piece desinged specifically for our home.
It's important to note that if you're looking for 5 star flash, then the Playground is not for you. It's basic, the rooms are fan only (which wasn't a problem for the time of year we were there) and you share a bathroom with other people on your floor. So there's that. Steve, the owner, greeted us as we entered and gave us a tour. There's a playground that kept our kids entertained for hours, really well thought out and interactive. And you can sit on the rooftop bar and watch them play. Which we did. And, after an evening walking through Kampot (it's a 10 minute walk with kids!) we returned, and after my wife and kids fell asleep I returned to the bar to enjoy a quiet drink and some conversation with locals. Being COVID season, there weren't many travellers, but nonetheless the Playground had attracted a wide bunch of fascinating people to meet. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

Nicola organized us the transfer from Phnom Penh and to Koh Rong Sanloem with comfortable companies. He is very prepared on Khmer, Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist history and traditions. We'll absolutely come back at Om Sweet Home family!

Get away from it all (only 3k from the town!). Swim in the river, sit around, chill out and totally relax - everyone is so friendly and Tony and the boys will look after you. I rented a bicycle and it was an easy cycle into town. The bungalow I stayed in was perfect really clean and one of the most comfortable mattresses since I started my travels.
